We've been described as sounding a little like Lindisfarne and Nick Drake especially on this song.  The song was written by Adele Ingram about people who are in love but can't be together for some reason or another and how the time passes by but love doesn't fade.  Likening this on to hands on a clock forever passing one another but never touching.
