ASH .. a companion piece to HEAT .. with earth and environmental issues in mind as it flowed I guess it is logical that also subconsciously it was a thankyou to Ashley and "ALL" the other great humans who worked hard and are still doing so, biting their lips as I get well then ill again then well again .. blur would be a huge understatement it has been a nightmare but finally recovery seems tangible: I smile, sing, laugh and then ... yeehah i'm down the scree, sliding whizzing on the seat of my pants but i'll get there .. I always do .. and soon i will be enable my dreams and help others via my work. 

  bipolar and addiction ... it is a funny old game. 25 yrs sober still though .. so some consolation .. and some ace times and memories in the mix.

    . . myriad methods utilised ..  loose, live, freestyle, scats, gambles, mistakes, wins .. much flow and adlib ..  and old songs + motifs + clips from various projects remixed, revamped and blended in .. 
      while ALLEN & DOUGLAS  https://soundcloud.com/a-and-d-eternal landed an unexpected but deserved and re-zesting hiatus (23-24)

 I developed #beelzebubabble (music) as an adjunct to the A&D band discog and blog - https://www.beelzebubabble.co.uk .. 

   beelzebubabble: for over a year a solo affair and pure therapy for me to combat an enduring and tough episode of manic depression ..  (circa 3 yrs)

  .. said exciting avant-garde punts + ideas - sonic trips - were sketched out with cameras and notepads adjacent also .. in a creative rush and weirdly calming frenzy ..  fun, mystical, rugged, ragged .. a new fan/ friend B.W.M aka P. introduced me to the concept  of desassossego .. identifying correctly that it was consistently my new default and sometimes alarming and fatiguing but ultra-productive mindset ..  and so ..

    demos formed at great pace .. very often in my car, vocals dynamic and layered with out-there speeds, rewinds, whispered, soulful, warped, nuts like a collage as if in a studio or pulling up suddenly magnetised and driven daily, hourly by idea after idea sat on random benches or rocks .. in stunning scenery but with high anxiety as I felt conscious of looking and acting way beyond invisible levels of fleeting madness.. but I got used to being considered "the fool on the hill" with permanent headphones on in a deep, deep intangible connect .. that  I could only articulate via art

  .. and then to home: now it was supported living due to an endless onslaught of events and a big big crack, now no longer able to laugh off or zen-away a life of hedonism, then years and years of ongoing applauded and equally mindbending sobriety for those who saw its magnitude in the context of major alcoholism and never ending cerebral turbulence that was often hidden by reclusivity and only rare terrified flurries into society and reality until I fell in love with .. again addictively .. meditation.

 Home: wrinkled up, split, old song tapes recorded under canal bridges and in warm railway waiting rooms in Birmingham taped back up together with big older wrinkled fingers - a doddle when we were kids - and then blended with retro micro-cassettes of fresh 21st century earworms and a splash of sauce, herbs, memories, laughter, fun, healing all stir-fried together with #urbana sounds: sped up, down, rewind, fast forward: church bells, traffic, chatter, radio, drunken ten-men, all manner of weirdness ..
