Blazing Stars is Mon’s debut indie-folk single, that explores themes of child-like wonder, longing, and our place in the universe. Built on textures of acoustic guitar and cello, it fuses ambient synths and vocal layering. Mon Bethelwood’s vocals are earthy and vulnerable, with lyrics that invite listeners into a soundscape that blurs the lines between past and future, self and cosmos.

Mon Bethelwood is a musician and artist based in Asheville, NC. Her background is rooted in the underground traveling scene of the early 2000's when she hitchhiked, train-hopped, and meandered 30,000 miles around the country while refining her songwriting style and voice. Her music blends acoustic storytelling with atmospheric production, and her debut single "Blazing Stars" is both a meditation on our place in the universe and an ode to the wondering child within us all.
