I count the cracks to calm my mind,
But the cracks start whispering every time.
They tell me what the doctors hide—
That sanity’s just madness, sterilized.
I take my pills to feel okay,
But now I miss the screams that went away.
The mirror grins, I laugh out loud,
I’m sane enough to draw a crowd.
Sanity’s a cage made out of glass,
You see right through it 'til it cracks.
The quiet ones all hear the screams,
We’re just the sane ones in their dreams.
The white room says I’m doing fine,
But why's the clock bleeding out the time?
They say I’m cured, they say I’m free—
So why’s the floor still breathing under me?

Before the Fall- 
  
is a one-man band, created and produced entirely by me—JC—in my basement studio. I handle everything from vocals and guitar to production. I've been playing guitar for years and recently decided to share my music online.

My focus is mainly on the heavier side of metal, but I’m always open to creating anything that sounds cool and inspires me. Feedback is always welcome—I'm constantly working to improve and grow as an artist.
