UNDERTALE: STORYSHIFT is a reimagining of Storyshift, set in a post-pacifist timeline of Undertale. Many years after Monsterkind had finally been set free, Alphys suggested to her friends that they all dress up as each other for Halloween, playing off the whole "dressing up as monsters" thing that humans were still prone to doing. A lot of them really seemed to like the idea. So much so, that a certain ghostly, theatrical entertainment robot would be inspired to write a stage play for him and his friends to perform in.

Flowey, and by extension his plush doll that looks like his past form, is meant to represent Papyrus. In Mettaton's retelling, Asriel and Chara live together with their parents in the Silicone Valley. With their parents both working full-time, Asriel and Chara spend most of their time together and with the Valley locals who've come to adore them.

Not wanting their good times to end, Asriel challenges Frisk to a duel. If Asriel wins, Frisk has to stay; if Frisk wins, they get to move on.

Jimmy (SolidarityGaming) is Papyrus, the second major role change (the first being Tilly is now flowey, rather than Judge Judy & Executioner)! Which I thought he'd be more fitting in that position rather than as Asriel, because Jimmy is no longer the canary after 3 seasons where he wasn't out first + Flower Husbands as Skelebros works really well.
Scott's innuendos basically replace Sans' puns, here. You'll probably see a few more of them in the Snowy Tundra arc. And well, this (and Featherslash, the bonetrousle replacement) is basically kind of like Histrousle of Storyshift, I guess? Since it uses the original BTWB's "Memory" (Comforting memories) leitmotif.

And yeah, the "That's Scott!" thing is a reference to the anniversary. Kinda ran out of ideas there to be honest

Jimmy (SolidarityGaming) is Papyrus. This track plays in his boss battle at the end of the Snowy Tundra. He proves a surprisingly difficult and competent opponent, after being practically completely ineffectual through the whole Snowy Tundra. I'd say it fits better than Bdubs (the V1 Papyrus replacement), especially relationship-wise.

The blue soul is the default soul, so all of the bosses instead do other modifications to it akin to Undertale Yellow, rather than outright changing the soul color. The one here is flight, where you can 'dash' and fly through specific attacks (which quickly drains the flight meter. If it runs out you can't fly).

Jimmy has the most powerful lightning attacks, being a four-time canary compared to everyone else (who was out first once) but he actually uses them fairly rarely, and mostly only to catch the player off-guard.

Also haha friend inside me in the beginning (it actually kind of fits, if you know empires smp s2)

Scott just cuts to the chase and tells you about Tilly. Well, not directly, but there's no like "echo dog" (the bait and switch is instead him referencing the replacements to the canine unit and even then it's a lot shorter). This is where you first learn about his extremely observant tendencies, and that he has something deeper beneath the surface. That will of course be uncovered in greater detail once BTWB gets to the it's raining somewhere else replacement.

Interestingly, this track is also used in an unused room with a dishevelled-looking...blob...thing. Vaguely looks like a zombie, actually.
