I had this track sitting around for another Minecraft AU some time ago, and I still think it sounds good, so I will reuse it for BTWB. There haven't been any tracks in a while, since my motivation to make them kinda died, but I hope I can release some in the future.
So there's three routes in this 'game':
Pacifist is called the 'Listener's Envoy Route'
Neutral is called the 'Wildcard Route'
Genocide is called the 'Watcher's Mission Route'
Or the 'Listener', 'Wildcard', and 'Watcher' routes for short, as they will be used in the future. 

(this section is for BTWB1 only)
The Listeners bound Martyn to your soul (which is kind of hilarious in hindsight, after Grian's episode 8 in Secret Life even though this was made before it) with the intention of him giving you advice...he doesn't seem to like being part of someone much though.
Martyn eventually gets used to it, but his narration early on will be very blunt and definitely sarcastic.






On another note, this is the track for Day 1 of 'An Orange New Year', which is basically like a succession of tracks meant to celebrate New Year's 2024.

2. The Poem of the Past

Much more popular than he thinks he is.

Mumbo (Mumbo Jumbo) is Napstablook. He primarily fights with a variety of redstone contraptions, primarily arrow and lava dispensers. Or, well 'fights', they don't do much damage to you (only 2 with your current armor).
To spare Mumbo you can simply complement his redstone or PVP skills three times. You can't kill him on any route, doing enough damage results in him fleeing.

This song actually uses "Mumbo AFK" by https://soundcloud.com/elybeatmaker. Since uh it fits a Ghost Fight really well actually.

This is an ambient track which plays in two occasions; first before meeting Scott in the Snowy Tundra, and second in the first few rooms after falling down BigB's hole into the Backrooms.

The finally last update to "OUR WILL BE DONE" that I'm ever gonna have to do. the context for this is pretty simply to BTWB1, in that there's a sort of character "creator" here, though it's less...uh, versatile, I guess. You can only really change accessories now, the character itself will always be the same.

The Watchers take far more of a backseat in the new lore, as well, but that's a story for another time

The Neo Flower Valley (basically, version 2 of the Flower Valley from 3rd Life) is the Ruins replacement of Behind the World Border (and its 2nd variant). After the Flower Valley was abandoned by its original builders, Lizzie has since moved here to tend to the flowers and leave her old duties of royal governance.

Lizzie's sprite is actually gonna get remade. Not because there's anything wrong with it per se, but...it'll make more sense once pacifist begins (there's a pretty significant and jarring disparity that you'd see without it)
With that in mind, I'm fine with keeping the old one for now.

Tilly from Double Life is Flowey. Yes, Jimmy is no longer Asriel, rather he takes a role I think is arguably more fitting. The actual Asriel replacement for BTWB2 might be pretty obvious already, but I'm going to make the reveal as painstakingly drawn out as possible (the asriel replacement won't be revealed til Track 71 drops) s'yeah.

The implication here is that there's civilization beyond the World Border, yeah. Though what that is can be left up to interpretation.

Lizzie is still Toriel, though. She is the "Shadow Queen" of the Borderlands, though due to a series of...incidents with the King all the way out east she went to the now abandoned and comparatively peaceful Fairy Fort and has remained in isolation there since then.

The blue soul is Behind the World Border's primary soul mode (in battle) rather than the red soul

Shadowcast Ultimatum is largely unchanged. Mostly because it's probably one of the best songs in the entire behind the world border ost, lmao
Lizzie mainly attacks with lightning magic, fitting to her status as one of the "Canaries". And, well, she certainly does it the most out of the major bosses.

You can actually talk to Lizzie a number of times here (with it occasionally turning into different ACTs ala Inverted Fate), infact it's necessary in order to progress the fight in a pacifist run before you start spamming spare.
She doesn't want to fight...just as much as you don't want to. But you have to get to her somehow. There's no other way. Not without compromising your morals.

The question is...
Can you defeat her without fighting or running away?

SCOTT: Jimmy and I are like two peas in a pod, you could say.
SCOTT: Actually, I think I see him over there.
SCOTT: Just go around the pressure plate.
SCOTT: Yeah, Jimmy made it way too small to be effective as an actual trap.

Scott (Smajor1995) is Sans, still. He's still the only green life/green name left on the server, like in v1 of this au, not only because that's usually how it plays out in the actual Life Series but because it'd make a fun gimmick for his boss battle in the genocide route. The Papyrus replacement is not Bdubs anymore, though

Jimmy (SolidarityGaming) is Papyrus, the second major role change (the first being Tilly is now flowey, rather than Judge Judy & Executioner)! Which I thought he'd be more fitting in that position rather than as Asriel, because Jimmy is no longer the canary after 3 seasons where he wasn't out first + Flower Husbands as Skelebros works really well.
Scott's innuendos basically replace Sans' puns, here. You'll probably see a few more of them in the Snowy Tundra arc. And well, this (and Featherslash, the bonetrousle replacement) is basically kind of like Histrousle of Storyshift, I guess? Since it uses the original BTWB's "Memory" (Comforting memories) leitmotif.

And yeah, the "That's Scott!" thing is a reference to the anniversary. Kinda ran out of ideas there to be honest
