This is my instrumental cover of Breaking Benjamin's "Diary Of Jane". It isn't the best, but I like it. I changed a few things, just to make it different. 

Used my Line 6 Helix, with a couple different Dual Rectifier presets that I created. Mapped the midi drums out and used Superior Drummer 2 with the Rock Solid expansion.

Revisited mix of the first song me and Niall recorded. The tracks weren't that great to begin with, but I think I polished it up as much as I could, and sounds better than the first version. 

We didn't have a bass at the time, so there's no bass track... It would sound a hell of a lot fuller if it had a bass...

The Fine Line Between Love And Hate [Remaster]

Short one, just getting used to my new guitar, dubbed "The Fire Breather".

Like all of my songs lately, recorded through my Line 6 Helix, using a Dual Rectifier and JCM 800 preset that I created, and the drums are Superior Drummer 2, using the Metal Machine expansion.

Another one I wrote today, playing my new Warmoth VIP with Lace Deathbucker pickups, through my Line 6 Helix, using a Dual Rectifier and JCM 800 preset that I created, and midi drums programmed in Superior Drummer 2, using the Metal Machine expansion. 
Also tested out a variety of Waves plugins for the first time, and I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

Oppression Of Thought

So, I've been doing a lot of these, because I have a lot of spare time, and I want to polish up my mixing skills.

Really happy with the way this one turned out. The vocals are a lot more forward than the original, but I like it.

Again, if you didn't know, I'm not playing any of the instruments, I just mixed this one.

The guitar DI's were re-amped using my Line 6 Helix.
Clean tones were using a Fender Deluxe Reverb patch that I created, and the heavy guitars were (like always) using my Dual Rectifier and JCM 800 patch.
The bass DI was re-amped through Logic's built in SVT style amp sim.
Using Waves plugins all around, except for the Logic Channel EQ on certain tracks and buses.

Killswitch Engage - The Arms Of Sorrow - Mix Test

This is my mix of a song by Bavarian band, Dark Ride. The multitrack stem files were uploaded to http://www.cambridge-mt.com/ms-mtk.htm#Rock for people to practice their mixing skills on. 

I am not playing in this, nor do I own it. I simply mixed and mastered the files that were uploaded. All credit to the performance goes to the band, and anyone else involved.

Dark Ride - Burning Bridges - My Mix

This is a cover of Periphery's "Ragnarok" done by Daybreak Studio (https://www.facebook.com/DaybreakStudioSwe/about/).

The MIDI drums were programmed using a kit in Steven Slate Drums 4 Platinum, that I created using mainly DW drums. The bass track was provided, and was a MIDI export from Zombass 3. The guitars were DI tracks that I re-amped through my Line 6 Helix, with a 5150 amp and an OwnHammer impulse of a Mesa Boogie cabinet with an SM57 and an MD421.
Mixed in Logic Pro X using mainly Waves plugins.

Ragnarok - Periphery (Cover by Daybreak Studio, Mixed by Robbie Timms)

This is my cover of Boulevard Of Broken Dreams. I recorded all of the guitar parts and the bass part, and mapped out the drum and piano MIDI. The vocals are an isolated vocal track from the original song that I found on YouTube. 
Drums were done on Superior Drummer 2, and the piano is the Logic Steinway piano.

I used my 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard goldtop for the electric parts, my Fender 1200 SX for the acoustic, and my Sterling by MusicMan Ray34 for the bass.

Guitar tone was achieved using my Line 6 Helix, with a Marshall Plexi amp and an OwnHammer Marshall cabinet impulse response. For the acoustic, I ran the acoustic through my Helix with a Taylor 314ce impulse response.

This is not my song, I do not own the copyright for this song. All rights go to Green Day, Reprise Records, and all other parties involved.

Boulevard Of Broken Dreams - Green Day (Cover)- Robbie Timms

This is my entry into the Adam Audio soundtrack contest.

The idea is to write a 30 second soundtrack that would go along with the given picture. 

When I look at the picture, I see a man who has had a long day at work, and a lot is on his mind. When it starts raining, he has to stop and think about everything in his life, and the music that I wrote for this, is how I see the man emotionally. Slightly gloomy, and just droning on through life.

The guitar tracks were done through my Line 6 Helix, using an AC30 amp, and an OwnHammer IR of an AC30 cabinet. The strings and timpani were mapped with Kontakt 5, and the drums were mapped with Superior Drummer 2, and the Metal Machine EXZ.
