The Polish Ambassador - All Night Long

In Washington D.C. there is a musical style called gogo. It’s a swingin’, heavily percussive, call and response sound unique to the capital.  We made our own spinoff version of the beat featuring the kamale ngoni (African harp), electric banjo, fiddle, cowbells, and a whole section of kazoos playing the horn lines.

"Leawood Street" is about Bethony's childhood home and neighborhood where much of the pondering, exploration, and growth occurred. Funny memories which stand out are much to thank for the interesting human that came to be.

I went walking down Leawood Street

Lost my shoes in the sewage drain
Feel the gravel underneath my feet
And, and the dog lady was watching from the window
I, I ran away and tripped over the manhole
Granddad warned us about

Made good friends with the Summer heat

Bought me a soda from Mr. T
And all the neighborhood kids gathered 'round the hydrant
I was in my overalls bathing suit underneath it
