APART is the debut EP by Aviad Zinemanas, this EP explores different feelings that are evoked when you are missing someone you love.
Blending synths and orchestral strings the EP moves between five different cinematic and deeply emotional scenes.
Aviad Zinemanas is a music producer from Tel-Aviv.
over the past few years he has produced music in various genres 
and created audio-visual installations that are displayed in international art museums. 


SIFON is an art collective/label/platform/live shows/events in Tel Aviv.
SIFON is a small group of producers, DJs and visual artists who all share a love for Unconventional art and music. Sifon are running a new wave of music in Tel Aviv.
With a series of showcases that was on Tel Aviv nightlife’s “Mecca” - “Teder”, a monthly show on ABC radio of alphabet club, “SIFON Super Tiger” - their line of events and upcoming live shows series - SIFON is creating a growing community of music lovers and dancers who crave the new wave that the label curates.

Syn Syn Presents "Faintings" by Zoe Polanski and Nina Traub: A Mesmerizing Convergence of Music and Dance- an avant-garde soundtrack that transcends the boundaries of both music and movement – the "Faintings" soundtrack is the collaborative brainchild of visionary artists Zoe Polanski and Nina Traub. This album stands as a testament to the remarkable synergy between sound and dance, a harmonious fusion of creative minds that promises to leave audiences utterly captivated. Composed by the duo, Zoe Polanski and Nina Traub, "Faintings" was conceived as the sonic companion to Nina's spellbinding dance performance, a captivating interplay of four performers set to unfold over a mesmerizing 45-minute duration.

Nina Traub's imaginative creation "Faintings" opens with a visually arresting mise-en-scène: a central circular stage hosts a minimalist wooden sculpture reminiscent of a weeping willow, casting its emotive shadow over Zoe Polanski, cocooned within its branches with an array of musical instruments. The stage backdrop, a colossal acrylic painting on paper, becomes a living canvas where verdant branches burst forth, cascading downwards in a cascade of poignant tears. Zoe Polanski's composition skillfully marries ambient pop with evocative emotion and suspense, weaving a sonic tapestry that deftly mirrors the intensity of Nina's choreography. The album also features soul-stirring covers of musical luminaries Bonnie Prince Billy and Mount Eerie, showcasing Zoe's versatility as a musical force and add an additional layer of nostalgia and familiarity to the ethereal soundscape."Faintings" is more than an album; it is an ethereal journey into the realms of artistic symbiosis, where music and movement harmonize to create an experience that resonates deeply within the soul.

This month's mix comes from the talented Israeli singer-songwriter Zoe Polanski (@bela-tar). Having shared the stage with the likes of Tame Impala and Stereolab, and recently released her debut album on one of our favorite labels, Youngbloods, she is someone to watch.

Zoe Polanski @bela-tar is Zoe Polanski is a Tel Aviv based composer, songwriter, producer, singer, and guitar player. Her uniquely textured compositions range across genres such as ambient, dream-pop, and post-rock In present days she is composing for film and releasing her album titled “Violent Flowers” with the New-York label Youngbloods.

Kumi Takahara - Roll (Zoe Polanski Remix)

Israeli composer, producer, and songwriter Zoe Polanski presents the visual accompaniment to Ya'ar Bein Olamot (Forest Between Worlds), the first follow-up single to her full-length LP Violent Flowers released in July, 2020. Created in collaboration with Tel Aviv-based interdisciplinary artist Ruth Patir and with funding from the Mifal HaPais Council for the Culture and Arts, Polanski’s latest video pairs blooming surrealist textures and celestial landscapes with tender keys rippling in a body of oceanic warmth.

Ya'ar Bein Olamot’s newest form is a product of physical restriction and a shared appreciation for unbridled imagination. Patir and Polanski, friends and neighbors prior to lockdown, found themselves able to spend more time together living within the 100-meter limitation set by the Israeli government during quarantine. After countless late-night conversations about art, philosophy, music (and a bit of gossip…), Polanski and Patir began conceptualizing visual interpretations for Violent Flowers’ most compelling instrumental piece. The final product speaks to Patir’s ability to draw out, develop, and successfully synthesize Polanski’s original intentions and creative instincts through a new medium:

“Ruth's video interpretation of Ya'ar Bein Olamot touches and expands the core idea we had in mind while producing the track: being present in a moment outside of time. Ya'ar Bein Olamot in Hebrew means forest between worlds, and the concept is taken from the book ‘The Magician's Nephew’. In the book, the forest between worlds is thick and dark, and there are small water ponds between the trees - portals to different worlds. Ruth succeeded to create that space, only not as a fantasy - but as something tangible. Her naked 3D environment is a true forest between worlds, conceptually speaking. It has the potential to be anything.”

Aesthetically, Patir landed on depicting wolves as the main character to the song’s narrative:

"Ruth's choice of the leading character is the only visual reference to a real forest - the wolf - which made us really happy. Maybe it's our love of dogs that allowed us to feel an immediate connection to it, even though it has a highly digitized lo-fi aesthetic. Some of the movements used when animating the wolves were inspired by the gallop of the centaurs in the film ‘Fantasia.’ Due to that, there is a naïve nature to their constant movement. We feel emotionally drawn to the wolves and their eternal gallop, and we hope the people who watch the video feel that too.
