Beladona is an alternative musical group created in the suburbs of Seattle Washington. their style of music can be compared to bands like Lacero or maklak with a notable contrast between clean and distorted, and a splash of grunge in the mix. They formed in their freshman year of high school when drummer (Alex Jones) and vocalist/lead guitarist (Matthew Hitchcock) decided that they wanted to be able to express and emote through music and art that could reach a larger audience. After years of playing with separate guitarists, bassists, and other musicians of the like, they found resolve in no one until Matthew's older brother (Nathan Hitchcock) wanted to learn the bass guitar. In Matthew and Alexs junior year of high school, Nathan ended up joining the group, recording his first demo after only six months of playing.  The band recorded their first demo at stew studios in Lake Stevens Washington (mixed and engineered by Mikel L. Perkins) and released the demo on April 8, 2013. Their trademark sound is a mixture between melodic acoustics, harmonic metal, and 90’s grunge. notable tracks on the demo are Relapse, The Closing Door, and Cracks and Callouses.  the purpose of the band's latest project is to "show how those who have beauty so commonly use it as a weapon of sorts." says Matthew "along with subtle hints towards peoples attempts at covering up their flaws to appear perfect" the band is also a strong promoter of giving music away.
