We are excited to present the first in our new digital series, by Meld affiliated Mod-R. In true Out of Sorts style, Mod-R serves up four percussive, breaks-fuelled workouts for the clubs. Maya Q rounds off with a refined, UK-funky laced twist on the title track.

Off the back of a stunning multi-genre release on Bristol-based label Out of Sorts, mod-r continues his foray into new musical styles in 2022. With an impressive backlog of releases on Out of Sorts, childsplay, Shubzin, CAROUSE, Belek Records, Jerry Horny, Hyperdome Records, Hang Tough, Angels Gun Club and his own imprint Meld Records, mod-r has developed outstanding technical abilities allowing him to produce tracks spanning electro, breaks, jungle and percussive styles. His EP on Gimme A Break Records broadens the Aberdeen-based producer’s repertoire further by exploring the recently revived UK Garage/Breaks crossover with Obatalla.
“Lord (Rave Mix)” offers a warehouse-ready anthem brimming with expertly chopped breakbeats. The track’s euphoric vocal lines and hardcore-inspired keys offer brief respite from the EP’s otherwise murky sound palette.

Ray Monero who is originally from Bremen moved up to Cologne to open a club called Jaki which has a rich history to do with the legendary Techno scene of Germany in the '90s and 2000s which used to be called Studio672. His partner in crime who joined Ray for this mix is from Mannheim. Dogpatrol is also part of the ghetto traxx team! you can hear some of his productions in this energetic mix of theirs.

Ghetto Traxx is a V.A. only record label and a booking agency from ravers for ravers. Founded by best friends that have been breakin it down for many many years and still keep on going. Tired of bullshit and sick of elitist rave culture.

On todays show we have @djsickfvck aka Leeza Shumova a Russian-American DJ/producer based out of Moscow. Her style ranges across various genres, including techno, breakbeat, ghetto, electro. 

​DJ Sickfuck will soon release her first electro EP "Mommy Issues" and is currently working on a vocal EP to release in spring 2021.

DJ Sickfuck is also the creator of Weird Nights, a monthly pop-up night of experimental, drone and ambient music and is launching Weird Nights tape label in March.
