It criticizes the lies and manipulations in the news and by those in power, who seek to secure their position through war and exploitation. The lyrics ask if there is a way out of this negative cycle of greed, lies, power, and war, and urge the listener to express their own opinion on the matter. It addresses the hopelessness and the feeling of powerlessness experienced in the face of these conditions. Finally, the song emphasizes the repetition of this harmful pattern and asks if there is no alternative to this seemingly inescapable situation.
