This is a piece about contrasts in nature - dark and light, yin and yang, good and bad. I wanted to convey that we are emotionally complex beings and never only one side of the pole. We have the potential for opposites in all things. I feel like this message can get lost in our culture. If we learn to embrace our shadow I believe it will give us power and insight.

i was trying to do a more accurate mix of the song: 2nd of maj.. but i can't figure out how i processed the initial opening sound in order to save the backup information.  searching the archive I came across this project created the day before with which probably the idea that gave rise to the song was born .. however I find the sounds proposed here interesting from which the idea of ​​this long drone was born, which recalls the idea of ​​spatial landscapes in sidereal distances, so far from the sun.

Note: For my friends on Sound Cloud who don't speak any french the word phoque (pronounced phuck) in french means a seal. Hence the title of the song in english would be The Blues of A Seal In Alaska. It's the story of a seal in Alaska whose girlfriend leaves him go perform in a circus in the United States and he's got The Blues

This is my version of the classic québécois song originally written by Michel Rivard. The english equivalent when "feelings" are concerned would be a combination of Summertime and House of The Rising Sun as far as immortal songs are concerned.

Very proud to present this collab with the very talented Elle (@cycleofhands) !!!

We've certainly taken our time to get the track right, having started this project about a year ago, but Elle's lyrics about lovers in a dystopian setting are amazing, and such is her voice, perfectly fitting the melancholic vibe in the music. On top of that, she added some really cool musical elements (like that awesome guitar) that really upgraded the song. I am very happy to be able to release it now.
