She Moves In Phases

Belle Tower is the folk rock shoe-gaze country project of Isabella (Bella) Harned, making music on xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, səlilwətaɬ, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh + shíshálh territories (Vancouver + Sunshine Coast, BC). Isolation, solitude, pain, love and healing are key themes at the heart of Belle Tower’s collection; songs that are heavy in their vulnerability, but that simultaneously carry you weightless through the processing of emotions. Recorded in their old home city of Montreal, with contributions from collaborators Ben Robertson (Winona Forever), Scott Boudreau (Mauno), and strings from Audreanne Filion (Lovelet, Crusssh), Belle Tower showcases vocal harmonies, dreamy guitar lines, and varied layered instrumentation resounding a sonic lightness in their 2021 EP ‘Tend To’, with new music and west + east coast show dates on the horizon for 2023.
