This is the featured track to the BEHIND SIGNALS EP, a concept that has held BLANG hostage in his home studio in Austin, Tx. for the last year. This was a concept album that BLANG had been working on since the Covid-19 pandemic started in the US back in FEB 2020. 

The release not only hits the levels and is BLANG's finest work to date. The album really showcases the growth and focus BLANG has had in the last year in regards to producing music. There is great balance throughout the EP, there's a little something for everyone and the vibes are thick. 

You can tell BLANG added some finesse to this album and spent a lot of time fine tuning. We would like to mention this is BLANG's first time also mastering his own tracks and showcases how he learned a few new techniques over the last year.

Bell Ringer Records is proud to announce the signing of a new member to the label of affiliated artists and who will be releasing some forthcoming filth off the label in 2014. Jeremy Eichberg aka Dip Vertigo, is a Los Angeles/So.California resident. Dip Vertigo has been quite a staple in the drum n bass scene in Los Angeles and Stateside as a whole, helping run La Beatdown events and Timeless DnB (Monthly) and has dedicated much of his time to music.

For the past eleven years he has been spinning, mcin’, and singing at drum n bass and dubstep events perfecting his craft, style and overall performances.  He has put out several solo dnb mixes including “King Me,” “Checkmate” and his most recent mixes “Beneath the Shadows II”. In the realm of dubstep mixes you can find “Another Dimension” and “Occupy This.”  In the past Dip was known as one half of Maximum Moves with MC J-Tec.  Maximum Moves, a project put together by world renowned artist MC MC, put out several mixes and made multiple appearances in L.A. including Monster Massive ‘06, Legendz, and History III… as part of Grapevinez crew.  Since then, Dip has gone onto play alongside and be direct support to Andy C, Noisia, Dirtyphonics, Bailey, Loadstar, Infected Mushroom Live, Feed Me, Dara, Optiv, Document One, Terravita and has shared the bill with many more.  Dip Vertigo also hosts weekly an internet radio show “Electrical Impulse”, on Tuesday mornings- www.dnbradio.com, and is a resident DJ at “Bassology” in Orange County and both Timeless DNB and LA Beatdown .    
 
Production has now taken over his life and has become his main focus in a world where just being a dj is not enough anymore. In 2012 he released his operatic dubstep banger “Play Dirty” with Obsidian & Meliss FX, featuring himself on the vocals.  Dip’s current projects consist of collaborations with Atlantic Connection, Dknow (MC Dino), David Hiller, Dave Owen, Divine Elements, Produce & Destroy and more, both singing and producing. After catching some headway and turning some heads his recent signing to Bell Ringer Records and already scheduled forthcoming debut EP release this Spring 2014... is highly anticipated, as these tunes are definitely on another level of production, with large drum hits and percussion and beefy bassline synth work, not to mention always adding his own personal touch to the sound with his own vocals in ‘All This Love‘. 

Dip Vertigo's debut EP "All This Love" features two drum n bass bangers guaranteed to smash the floor.  The title track "All This Love" features a catchy hook featuring vocals by Dip, a huge drum section/ layered with precise percussion, and a big edgy bassline to keep your head ringin’… paralleled with a creative melody that will set you in the groove of this tune. The second track "Extreme Being" truly encompasses it's name and hits you with relentless bass  that is infused with proper layering of synth work and massive drums. The climatic hardcore/ metal style break down will have crowds jumpin’ before breaking into a massive frenzy on the drop! Definitely a crowd pleaser for those true Drum n Bass heads. The Tribal Knowledge EP is a concept curated by BLANG, a stateside dj/ producer from southern California who now resides in the city of Austin, Tx. The album consists of 4 tracks that represent the smooth, deep and gritty spectrums of drum n bass/ jungle music. 

‘Against Time’ is the featured track off the album which hosts a moody and infectious melody drawing you into its story. The plot twist is when the drop hits with a gritty/ distorted bass synth that takes you on a rolling journey thru the track. 

‘Impulse’ is tune collaboration between BLANG and SQUAKE, a resident of SONAR DNB and dj/ producer from Austin, Tx. 'Impulse' is an energetic, vibey tune with crisp drums, spacious pads and a heavy bassline, that molds into a jungle infused track just before the breakdown to keep you listening. You can expect more to come from these two in the studio. 

‘Landslide’ has a very infectious intro with snappy drums and symphonic sounds that draw you in. The build up is subtle yet when the drop hits it immediately encompasses your ear with a big rolling bass synth that carries you thru the tune! 

‘Peacemaker’ the last tune on the EP, is a gem in itself. The track takes you on a spacious and melodic intro that reels in your attention. Coming to the drop the track takes on the shape of a smooth/ liquid roller yet surprises you with slight amen breaks and a analog drone synth sound sprinkled in that seems to widen and create space, to keep you in tune and turned on.

With a little taste of some WEST COAST flavor on this one, by none other than, MC OOZI aka Airborn MC, who is from the hip hop group PARALLEL, from Southern California. Although he has a style that is his own, he comes with a raw underground hip-hop flavor, that just seemed to fit per say with the sound styles of BLANG! So these two mentioned it became natural working together on this one and expect more in the future!

Bell Ringer records -Digital-, was founded back in 2010. It was a concept formulated by BLANG, Dj/producer and label owner, who realized the lack of recognition towards stateside artists in the underground electronic music scene. BLANG wanted to open up an avenue, not only for his own material to be released but for other stateside artists looking to get their tracks heard internationally, through a labels distribution. So it became only natural for the labels mission to represent stateside artists, nationally: to push drum and bass/ jungle and dubstep music to further expose each artist and the genres the label represented. The name ‘Bell Ringer’, musically speaking, stands for that feeling you may get in your eardrums when you’ve been listening to heavy bass-fueled music all night, at a live show and/or club event.

Knowing that, in today’s world, drum n bass, jungle and dubstep continue to evolve and grow… ‘We’ will as well! So you’ll be hearing a bit of every style these genre’s represent. We here at Bell Ringer Records don’t limit ourselves to a certain sound or what have you… its all about supporting & growing with, NOT against, the scene as a whole; and furthermore, brockin out to those sounds WE all love so much… LET IT RING!!!
