For the labels first release of 2022, Idlestates have curated a blend of no-nonsense EBM with grittier industrial electronics. The 13 track VA compilation welcomes a host of new artists to the label whilst continuing to showcase returning favourites such as Meshes, Magnum Opus, and MVQX. The album titled ‘The Semiconscious System’, arrives with several dancefloor ready anthems whilst allowing a meltdown through intervals of raw industrial sludge.
The limited-edition cassette features; Gewalt, Autumns, Filmmaker, Disociacion, L/F/D/M, MVQX and Kirsten on side A. Whilst side B contains tracks from; Prophan, The Undertaker’s Tapes, Termination_800, Alpha Sect, Magnum Opus/Ravetop and Meshes

After two years of silence, the Lviv post-industrial project returns with two life-affirming singles. This marks the dawn of a new chapter for Ship Her Son — more gloomy, more vital, and more comprehensible. The German-language robots are finally at rest, making way for collaborations that infuse life and diversity into this digital machine.

This release serves as the first glimpse of Ship Her Son's second full-length album, scheduled for release on the Dnipropop label in late 2024. Stepan Burban and Yaroslav Ilchyshyn have visually portrayed the narrative through a dual music video.

"Terrorismo Individualista" wants to shed light on the most suffocating aspects of the times we live in.

The need for revolt in the dullness of consensus we're giving to the ones that rule over us and the strong need to subvert a system based on injustice which limits people's opportunities - an extreme individualism which eliminates every form of humanity and uniqueness.

Recorded between Lichtenberg and Lodrone on a Dirty Multitrack.

familiar with the underground music scene and how its skeptical nature can also be an obstacle to overcome, belief defect abandon any claim or credit in an attempt to transcend the limits authorship imposes, avoid the boundaries or expectations earned or self imposed and find the clearest, most direct path to their music for themselves and the listener.

at the core of the album is the music that inspired them, the conclusion of countless recordings listened to in their formative years that ultimately result in a life-long devotion to electronic music: from dance floor to primal anger and self-annihilating noise, to transcendental, ambient escapism and intense self-reflexive sonic layering.

the result is a soundtrack for this apocalyptic time, an uncompromising reflection on the state of mankind and its uncertain future — underscored by a sense of religious and secular demise referenced in track titles, samples, and soundscapes scattered throughout the album.

yet, more than a political statement »decadent yet depraved« is an introspective journey, turning each listener into a spiritual soul-seeker staring into the abyss, reaching for some kind of cathartic truthfulness.
