Belly Dance Services opens the early summer season of 2021 with a unique 3 tracker by Lille based producer @nicolakubebe and comes with a remix by label fathers @hanzoandyaman 

The starter Candiru sets the tone for this journey. A playful CR-78 drum machine beat accompanied by reggae rhythms played on keyboard. Candiru carries the soft breeze of a melody that sticks in our heads and causes big smiles. 

The sunny trip continues with Coral Noon, a piece that calls to lean back and dive into the Mediterranean vibes. Flutes and little guitar pickings mixed with smooth Synthesizers on another steady minimal precise beat. 

The closing track Sainte Rita is like a spiritual leader of this voyage. A melancholic swirling synth loop lifted higher and higher by acoustic drum elements. The song reaches various peaks in his minimalistic yet flawless composition and set’s the listeners on a travel from the 80’s ambient era to today. 

Hanzo & Yaman’s remix comes as an extra gift. A drum driven version of Candiru which still is defined by its main melody. A stepper for the perfect early afternoon in the Mediterranean.

DEKADENZ co-mastermind ADITYA PERMANA delivers a diabolic remix of SOMBRIA LUJURIA for the upcoming BDS0014. The man from Jakarta gave his dark touch and prepared a strong belly wobbler that catches ones attention with shabby synths, harsh aural bites and demon like vocals.

Aditya Permana is a Jakarta based musician and a DJ, who has spent his adult years followinghis passion for analog drums and synths. Aditya is a co founder of Dekadenz, a regular showcase of new wave inspired electronic club music. Known for pushing a club night that offers more mature and challenging music, Dekadenz evolved into a record label, on which Aditya has a few releases of his own. The label also hosts producersin the region and internationally who are known for bringing experimental sounds into a club. Aditya’s releases on Dekadenz Recordsincludeelements like dub versions of post punk, EBM and weird disco tracks, re-shaped in his own style, and bringing intoplaydrum machines that add anintense qualityto his music.

After starting off steady and percussive, the beats per minute shift up with Cosman from the Lithuanian coast when he delivers his vibrant version of 'Space Disco'. The third track 'No Man Around' is a magnetizing joint venture between AckerMan from Israel and Funboys trio from Australia. The ritualistic cowbell ceremony is followed by 'Blew my Mind', a cheerful downtempo anthem from Vienna based producer Klaus Benedek. The voyage continues via Turkey and Mexico, where Fat&Bald and Ludviq celebrate their 'Age of Trippiness' with us. The 6th track is a new alliance between Belly Dance Services head Nick Hanzo and German-Greek vocalist Geraldine. Together as 'das molekuel' their emotional 'Chasing Game' will swirl up your serotonin level. The molecules continue exploading while listening to 'Unity', a very hip collab between lithuanian sound doctor Bojarchück and Madrid based Chilenian wizard Persona RS. After traveling between various continents the journey finally arrives in the capital auf Austria. 'Cato' by Peter Zack will complete your summer with dreamy elements and dubby vibes.

Funboys & AckerMan - Duro Direzzi (Kate Stein Remix)

We are thrilled to present our 19th release "Mapinguari," a captivating musical journey created by the talented Brazilian artists Mandruvá and Torstol. Inspired by the legendary creature of the Amazon rainforest, this EP features two unique remixes by Leonor and A-Tweed.

The Legend of Mapinguari: Rooted in the rich folklore of the Amazon Region, the Mapinguari legend tells of a forest-dwelling creature, a hairy giant with one eye on its forehead and a mouth on its navel. Some believe it is covered in brown/red fur, while others say it dons armor made from the shell of a tortoise. This mythical being's origins remain shrouded in mystery, with various versions attributing its existence to indigenous tribes living in the heart of the rainforest. According to certain beliefs, individuals of a certain age may undergo a transformation into the Mapinguari, leading them to seek solace in the isolation of the lush woodlands.

The "Mapinguari" EP combines the visionary prowess of Mandruvá and Torstol, resulting in an enchanting blend of sounds that draws listeners into the heart of the Amazonian mystery. Leonor and A-Tweed contribute their unique interpretations, adding further layers of depth and artistry to this already captivating release. The sonic world of "Mapinguari" by Mandruvá & Torstol will be available on all digital Plattforms from September 15th 2023. After unveiling hidden Belly Trance gems in southern Brazil, Belly Dance Services heads further north to celebrate its 24th release with a special offering from Mexico: Superenhölder by Fargo Devianti.
The 6-track-pack includes a remix by chief Belly Dance Services' instructor, Nick Hanzo.

Superenhölder masterfully blends avant garde experimental synthesis with dark overtones, psychedelic post-punk guitars, and Latin percussions.
"The motivation for Superenhölder was rooted in experimentation and the creative freedom to craft a work where psychedelia and darkness coexist as a unique experience," says Fargo Devianti.

"During the creation of Superenhölder, I began collaborating with Samah Abdulhamid, a Syrian singer residing in Mexico. Her contributions, particularly on the track 'Ezcorpio', deeply influenced my approach to Middle Eastern music, leaving an imprint on the entire production."

Broadcasting from Vienna to the Caribbean, Belly Dance Services unveils its 27th release –
introducing Puerto Rico-based collective Panic Broadcast and their EP RAZA, a fusion of folkloric roots, cosmic rhythms, and Latin American electronic vanguardism. The EP features two original tracks plus two remixes, including one by label head Nick Hanzo.

Born out of the wake of Hurricane María in 2017, Panic Broadcast unites Raymond Gadget
(Macroporno, Psiconautas), Jorge Martinez (Matotumba, SIMILAR), and Jorge Ramos (deep, Ha!) – pushing the boundaries of audiovisual experimental music in the Caribbean and beyond.
RAZA is an electronic rumba laced with Afro-Fusion textures – a cosmic celebration and homage to Jíbaro music legend Tavín “Hígado de Ganso” Pumarejo, amplified through collaboration with Oferenda. URAYOÁN references the legendary Taíno Cacique who resisted colonization, delivering a tribal step rhythm rich with surreal tones – a hypnotic call for transformation and resistance.
