Bellygunner is a 5 piece band, based out of Sacramento, CA., comprised of Tom Monson on drums, Shawn Hale on bass, Peggy Lanza on keyboards, Gabriel Nelson on guitar and vocals and Steve Randall on lead guitar. On certain special occasions a horn section is added to the live line-up, which is always a lot of fun.

Bellygunner formed in 2012 and has been playing around Northern California ever since. Released in December 2013, exclusively on vinyl, "Machinegun Built For Two", is selling at shows and in record stores around Sacramento and Davis, CA. The album has been picked as the #1 album of 2014 by Twirl Radio. Bellygunner has performed at the long running, yearly music series shows of 'Hot Lunch Concert Series' and 'Chalk It Up Festival'.

The music is rhythmically driving yet melodic, with lyrics that stand out as memorable, dark, and humorous. Layered instrumentation with counter melody and invention in the music. 

Bellygunner also likes to make their own video-ads and flyers, to promote their music.
