This is an archival documentation of oral and visual legacy stories collected at REMNANTS, programming for the PATHWAYS exhibition. REMNANTS was centered around creating connection through our multifaceted diasporic narratives and experiences, as we preserve and enrich the past, present, and future. The discussion will highlight the use of art, music, and literature as tools of documenting oral, written and electronic histories whilst platforming the variety of history and culture our community has but is often forgotten. This sound piece is a collection of responses from the culminating discussion of the program, exploring questions like, what story do you want to leave behind? How do you envision your experience here (in the country, in this world, in this universe) being remembered/documented? Tell us an oral history of your own/Spread knowledge about your family or community. (This can be expressed through songwriting/rhyme/rap, poetry/spoken word, journal entry, etc.) Enter and enjoy this timeless journey!
