BemiSoul is an American-Nigerian singer/songwriter. Born into a family of musicians in Washington, D.C., Bemi took onto music at the early age of 4. At the age of 18, she decided to turn her passion for music into a career, featuring on records with other local artists.
Bemi admired the beauty and structure of Afrobeat music but wanted to create a sound that people of the diaspora, like herself, could sonically relate to. She began merging up-tempo Afro beats with soulful R&B vocals, finding the perfect balance between the two. In 2018, Bemi dropped her first single “Feenin” followed by “Vybe” in 2019. Both records provided listeners with a new and fresh sound but barely scratched the surface and scope of Bemi’s musical capabilities. 
In 2020, Bemi was recognized and chosen to be a part of Mr. Eazi’s talent incubator program, emPawa Africa, where she released her third single “Dey”.  

To further her mark as an artist, Bemi released her first EP, "Kaotic Riddim", a collaborative project with Nigerian producer T.U.C. The project perfectly merged the sounds of South African house with Afrosoul and caught the attention of listeners worldwide. With little funding behind promotion, the project’s “Body Hot” found a home for over 30 consecutive weeks on Corrent’s Nigerian Airplay charts as “the most played Naija R&B /Soul song on the radio”. The song also received the Nigerian Entertainment Network nomination for most played R&B song in Nigeria. 

Bemi is currently working with producers from Nigeria and the U.S. for her upcoming debut EP and just released her latest next single “Hypnotic”, a new and electric Afro-Jazz track produced by SupersmashBroz and Gib DJ.  Bemi has proven to have a promising career ahead of her and aims to use her journey and music as catalysts to show the world how alluring and impactful Afrobeats and Nigerian culture truly are.
