This was a project to test my abilities as a live sound engineer and to practice my post recording mixing skills. I used a variety of microphones and positioning techniques to capture the sound of the three musicians’ instruments – a cello, piano, and violin. After achieving the proper live balance, there were five recorded takes to be used in post processing.
