This track was made to accompany a location based publication project. As part of third year art our class went on a field trip to Graignamanagh in Kilkenny and images and sounds we collected on the trip went into this re-imagining of Edgar Allan Poe's short story of 'the tell tale heart'

Second year project, brief was to make a drawing with tape, so naturally it turned into a kinetic sound work!? I got an 8x4 metal sheet, suspended it from the ceiling, attached magnetic tape, foil, magnets, a fan and microphones and recorded the result. I overlaid a recording of a Korean children's story about a paper tiger, a metaphor for capitalism eating people

Sound Machine number one

This is from NASA's Cassini spacecraft, it's a sonification of radio waves detected coming from Saturn. The original frequencies are outside the human audible range so the good people at NASA did some adjustments. Its pretty freaky...

This was originally the soundtrack for a short film which I made for our second year show. I recorded the track first with the intention of making an animation film, but part way through the direction of the film changed and the final soundtrack was completely different. I came upon this again recently and decided it had some interest as a stand alone piece of sound. enjoy
