Quick little test for a cool trick i learned today on Youtube! To make a humbucker equipped guitar sound like a Tele, its easy... just remove a line of the pole pieces/screws! Its totally reversible too, so don't worry about messing a pickup up. Sounds pretty dang awesome. This is a Dimarzio Super 2 in the bridge position of my Ibanez RG470. i removed the bridge side 3 pole piece screws on the E A and D string, and the neck side on the G B and e strings to give it a slanted pickup sound, like a Tele. Give it a shot! oh and i'm playing through my delightful Kemper Profiler.

Cool trick! Remove a row of pole pieces from your humbuckers to make them sound like Tele single coils! Sounds pretty dang good and its totally reversible. Using an Ibanez RG470 with the Dimarzio Super 2 in the bridge through my Kemper Profiler.

Flippin' awesome song! Too fun to jam over. Just thought i'd share. Everything here was made on Garageband, plus my bass and a little guitar. I've only been messing with recording for a week or two, so i'm pretty happy with what i have so far!
