Ezequiel Arias returns to the label with two brilliant tracks. 

It's been a whirlwind decade for the man from Patagonia. Signed to Balance Music, The Soundgarden, Replug and many more, his music regularly tops the Beatport charts and his DJ sets have been enjoyed by countless thousands around the globe. Currently touring with Anjunadeep, his trademark deep, emotional sound has cemented his place in the scene. 

Opening with 'Once A Day' trippy arps and a rolling bass get things off to a rollicking start. Developing naturally, the arps take on a spiritual appeal married with warm pads and melodic swells. Peak time never sounded so blissful. Next up, 'Revolver' winds a darker path from the off. Rubbery bass and snappy percussions draw out the melodics midway, paired with darker sweeps and sharp FX. A hooky pad reveals itself in the break and powers the track's second half with analogue fire.

Our final free download of the year finds Emi Galvan and D-Nox joining forces for a much-anticipated rework of Underworld’s ‘Dark & Long’. Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvin has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. Through the success of early tracks like 2016's ‘Taking Over’ and ‘Universe’, the Buenos Aires resident emerged into one of the progressive scene’s most promising talents. A rich musical background with time spent in rock bands playing guitar and singing gave Emi’s electronic compositions a measurable creative edge. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Meanwhile, hailing from Germany but now based in Brazil, D-Nox has continued to thrill fans with both cutting edge music and enlightening DJ sets. Whether operating in solo capacity or as one half of D-Nox and Beckers, the German artist lays claim to an impressive resume, highlighted by releases on Bedrock, Einmusika, Sudbeat and his own Sprout imprint. Having previously worked together for Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank imprint, Emi and D-Nox also took to re-imagining Underworld’s ‘Dark & Long’ earlier this year. Now over thirty years old, the Original version was the lead track on the British band’s third and most critically acclaimed album ‘dubnobasswithmyheadman’. As a favourite of Sasha, Digweed and a host of other A-list DJs, there are few productions which have stood the test of time in a more enduring fashion. Ending the year on high note, we’re thrilled to offer Emi and D-Nox’s much requested ‘Dark & Long’ interpretation as a free download. Enjoy.

The latest edition of our free download series finds Simos Tagias making his debut appearance. The Greek artist has been one of his country’s brightest stars in progressive house with a discography that features releases on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Beatfreak, Movement Recordings and Proton Music. Of late the Athens resident has been focusing on the more techno inspired spectrum of progressive house. A sound that has lent itself quite well to Way Out West’s classic ‘The Fall’. Released in the year 2000 and remixed by Bedrock, its dark hypnotic motifs were a staple in the sets of many top DJs at the time. We’re now happy to present Simos’ fresh update as an exclusive free download. Enjoy!
