Claptone feat Jaw 'No Eyes' (Just Kiddin remix)

Finally able to share some of the original lost DAT tapes which were gone for about 5 years when I moved to California.  Many of them were damaged but I found a bunch of various stuff from three tapes labelled "Spring 1991".   I can't figure out which set is from where, but the flyer in the picture gives you some detail.  All I can say is that it is authentic to the year - 1991.

After the success of her first self-released EP “The Suspended Kid”, Sevdaliza releases her second batch of enigmatic songs on “Children of Silk”. The songstress/producer draws her influences from several textures like skin and glass. Sevdaliza’s melancholic visceral voice floats over beds of mechanical instrumentation, creating dynamics of chaos and order. Her songs have a philosophical questioning character, subjects like gender diversification and perception of emotion are strongly present. Diverse comparisons have been drawn yet it remains a difficulty to specify her in a particular genre. Rhythmic tensions build slowly into chaotic climaxes. Every retribution of her lyrics becomes more intense and personal, yet she isn’t able to break from that obscure statue of a woman. Children of Silk is now available worldwide via Itunes/Spotify.

Ben Ivory's music is a portrait of typical Berlin atmosphere, a mixture of 80s sounds, deep vibes, drum machines and electronica soul. His original mixes are combined with 6 remixes from some Boutade artists (Hvitling, Guanlong, Friedrich Becker), Eva Be (who often collaborates with Ben), and G.U.A aka Pascale from GOS Music Studio Records. All artists reworked the songs being inspired by the amazing voice of Ben. Enjoy!
