Paul Pearson has been a prominent Trance & Progressive DJ for over 24 years, sharing his passion for music globally since the 90s. He started DJing in 2000, launched his own night in 2004, and became a key figure in Leeds' Digital Society in 2007. Paul has played alongside legends like Paul van Dyk and Ferry Corsten at major venues such as the O2 Academy. With residencies at Digital Society and Gatecrasher Sheffield, he's performed at top UK clubs. As a producer since 2007, Paul's music has been released on major labels like Perfecto and Enhanced Music.

In his guest mix, Paul masterfully blends progressive and uplifting tracks, from Gatecrasher classics to modern trance anthems. It's been an honor to have Paul on the show, as we both share a vision of trance music where the journey is key. He seamlessly connects various trance subgenres, creating a unique and unpredictable experience for the listener.

BEYOND THE BLACK RADIO WITH BEN LOST - 005

PvD delivers a brilliant mix into "Purple Haze" which will have you reaching for your bedroom ceiling (or stretching your arm out of the car window) with its uplifting and feel-good melody :) Overall, an excellent CD. A great blend of soft, melodic and harder trance (but skip through the last track) and don't forget to check out Paul's goodbye at the end of the CD - hilarious!
