@amatan & @nemurmusic are Djs and producers from Switzerland. Both have been performing on stage for the past 10 years alongside with famous artists who have influenced them. They have recently produced together inspirational electronic downtempo music, inviting the audience to get into deeper atmosphere through mystic sounds and ancient instruments exploring organic and slow rhythms with ethnic vibes. Taking inspiration from many cultures across the globe, they will keep delivering production with spiritual and ethnic influences.

The 'ikaro' EP is an invitation to immerse yourself into the mysteries of the Pre-Columbian culture of South America, from the hidden Andean Mountains to the mystic Amazonian rainforest. It is also a tribute to the indigenous people who maintain their ancient traditions, living in peace and harmony with the rainforest and respect for nature of mother earth.

'Araguaia' is the largest river of the amazonian forest, the track invites you on a slow river cruise to follow an inspirational voice into the deep heart of the rainforest.
'Ikaro' which means 'Magic song' in Quechua language, is an initiation to a shamanic experience.Follow the magical voice of the indigenous shaman and healer into a mysterious spiritual temple.
'Pajaten' is a remote and mystic city sitting on a hilltop built by the Chachapoyas culture in the Peruvian cloud forest. The buildings are decorated with slate mosaics and stone carvings that display geometric shapes, big birds motifs and representation of humans dancing, singing and playing flute.
'Colca' refers to the second deepest canyon in the world in southern Peru. Imagine that from the highest point of the canyon, you can hear the call of the Apus, the spirit of the mountains, and an Andean Condor sing.

About Bazoo Bajou :
The German downtempo duo have been making music together since the late ’90s, pumping out a healthy number of 12-inches and albums for Stereo Deluxe and !K7 leaning towards dub and trip-hop. Last year Florian Seyberth and Peter Heider signed to R&S subsidiary Apollo with the Jan Mayen EP, and they’ll follow that up with their next full-length (and first since 2009). The press release compares the record to the sweeping ambient of Brian Eno as well as Basic Channel and John Hasell. 4 will feature contributions from guitarist Frank Zeidler, violinist Stefan Pötzsch, synth wizard Max Loderbauer and even some duduk playing from Frank Freitag. Boozoo Bajou earned global attention with their irresistible breakthrough single ‘Night Over Manaus’ in 1998, their 2001 debut album ‘Satta’ and its 2005 sequel ‘Dust My Broom’. They also demonstrated their excellent and wide-ranging musical taste on two excellent mix compilations, ‘Juke Joint’ and ‘Juke Joint II’.

In addition, Florian and Peter have remixed and collaborated with a wide range of major artists. These include hip-hop superstar Common, Joe Dukie from New Zealand dub-rock collective Fat Freddy’s Drop, rapper Oh No from the Stones Throw camp, former Motown writer-producer and blaxploitation soundtrack legend Willie Hutch, and the veteran Louisiana singer-songwriter Tony Joe White, author of the all-time classic ‘Rainy Night In Georgia’.

“The object lets us see within, the word lets us see without. A picture is a sound.”

These words were etched into the lintel upon leaving the Temple. Dry leaves crackled like tiny fires beneath my feet, twigs snapped like answers to unasked questions. 
I was used to this by now. I walked towards the orb, it’s blueish glow cast shadows across the scorched earth in protracted shapes and contours of dehydrated wizards prostrated on the rocks. The sand whipped against my skin, barely covered by this thin shroud. The journey had felt long but all journeys were timeless in the end. 
The orb hovered a few feet above the ground. Within its orbit I could hear the tumbling voices of Holy men washing themselves in mad koan puddles, their voices chewing on space-time with alien eloquence. They tell me not to forget about that non-material engine, that rumbling in the essence of the myriad things residing within.

“If all is mind. Where is no-mind to go out of it?” One voice asked.
“Who has no mind to be asking the question?” Replied another.
“Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō. Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō.” The group mind chanted.

The sound of the Shōdai moved the orb at first like a pan of bubbling rice.

“Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō. Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō.”

The orb unfurled into spiralling strands that would have the holiest of Shinshoku’s in ecstasy whereas Lao Tzu would have said “what?”.

I am panting like a dog. Like a dog. Like a dog. Like a dog. Like a dog. Like a dog. Panting. Stepping over the dog who bares his teeth in search of the moon. 
“Chi, chi, chi!” Down boy. Follow the leader? No chance! I follow my breath instead, under this hot yolky sun mind that drips through the material fabric of my holy being-somewhere.

I take a moment to myself. Keep it cool, once there was nothing. I follow my breath towards the orb, now lilting with spore filled undulations and lotus petal sutras. 
I am not ready to leave. But I know the truth. I know that the trick is to keep the demon in the dark, don’t let him see the game. 

The old taxi driver, in his raspy voice of earthly measure, had taught me in the previous life that “If we conceive of the demon by the temple door, whose faculties are so sharpened that he can follow every molecule in its course, such a demon can invert the first law by extracting energy from the reservoir”.

The orb burst into a spiralling form that swarmed like kami, crystals in the fire enveloped me. The old dog's eyes widened with the moon. The glory of karmic death. 

“Feed the spirit foetus when the body fusion remains. But don’t flatter yourself o rigid disciple. Falter softly. Song smoothly through the measure of your straining soul”  

Finding immortality elsewhere, I turned attention to the fruit bowl. To the emptiness within the bowl. To the fruit it contained. To the seed that contained the tree. To the tree that contained the fruit bowl. In the garden is the mother. In the fibre. In my sock.

I could stay here, but decide to take my leave and walk towards the orb that spiralled into flower. It won't wait around forever.

The reflective sun reminds me of a holy belly, as it swallows me, the sickly scent of burning honey.

All is light, then all is dark, then all is light again.
