Katalist is a native of Detroit and in an ode to the city's rich cultural heritage, has found a way to creatively and seamlessly weave in many different styles of music into his sets, including funk, hip hop, disco house, techno, ghetto tech and electro.  He is one of the driving forces behind the successful label and event organizers, Bangtech 12, known universally for the epic (and free) pre-Movement kick off event they hold at Bookies in Detroit.  Katlist has been on the decks for over 25+ years honing his craft, cutting his teeth as a DJ for Burton Snowboards early on and as a recording engineer at Disc.  He has held residencies across Detroit and continues to partner with Bookies and Goodnight Gracies for regular events.  When he isn't playing live, you can catch him on Twitch every Sunday from 12-2 for Sunday Brunch.
