In 2006 he founds the Dress Code Quintet and releases the album FAR AWAY « Revelation » by Jazz Magazine. » 
  
In 2008 the collaboration with the trumpet player Florent Briqué brings him to electronic music. Together they will often perform in China on prestigious stages (Hong-Kong International Jazz Festival, JZ Shanghai Music Festival,…)

In 2011 he produces several library albums and writes music for different movies.

In 2017, Ben Rando brings together a team of exceptional musicians to deliver his «True Story», first album in his own name. (Le Monde, Must TSF, CD Citizen Jazz, FIP…)

In 2023, he releases a piano solo album named "Créatures".

Since 2006, Ben Rando has been working on numerous musical projects on stage and has participated to more than fourty albums as a musician, sound engineer or producer.
