Hot on the heels of the inaugural What NxT Digital release, which saw all tracks in the their respective charts, we bring you more fresh tunes courtesy of hot new talents Niko Maxen, Kepler and Marvin Morgan, who all possess their own unique style and groove. 

Kicking off wth Maxen's 185, a prime example of one of his joined up grooves, where each element seems to roll of the last, it is not surprising that he has already released on favourites Hoarder and Pathway Traxx. 

London's Marvin Morgan follows and we are very happy to be able to present his debut release in what is bound to be a long a successful recording career. 'Question Is?' glides through minimal textures with a hypnotic tribal rhythm underpinning throughout. 

As per usual we dedicate half of the offering to one artist and this time it is Kepler. Hailing from Leeds like Niko Maxen, Keplers's two tracks showcase all that is great about his quirky, intelligent take on reduced groovy house music. No wonder his tracks are playing regularly by many of the scenes influencing artists.

After moonlighting in the atmospheric recesses of Techno as KSMSK, ​Trulz & Robin return to their eponymous alias to rekindle an old partnership for two tracks featuring ​Baseman​. The trio reunite for the first time since their 2005 collaborative LP, ​Intersexual​, stepping right back into the groove that lingered at the end of their last outing together.
Fuzzy 303 basslines relieved from their lysergic associations and infectious rhythms, coaxed from energetic drum machines, bounce through ​Eyes For U ​and ​Thermo Dancer ​while Baseman’s vocal scatterings dust the individual pieces in some freeform word associations that land on abstract rhythmical touchstones through the two tracks.
“We had two tracks that were almost ready and felt it would be amazing to get some wild vocals on them, so we called Baseman. Got him in the box and everything flowed like in the old days. We did two takes with him, just improvising and we had everything we needed.” ​Trulz & Robin
A formidable DJ duo, a captivating live act and a serious tour de force in the studio Trulz & Robin have made severe impressions in Norway and beyond, through their LPs, EPs, live shows and DJ sets. They’ve found a kindred spirit in Baseman (Christian Cook), who has worked closely with the duo since 2003’s Kaosmatisk. After lending his vocals and bass on a few tracks on that LP, he joined the group for a whole LP on ​Intersexual​ and the 2005 single ​Turn my Head​.
Eyes For U and ​Thermo Dancer sees the trio band around the same elements, injecting a good dose of funk in the House lexicon across these two tracks. A bouncing groove ebbs while bleeping synthesisers and restless drum machines dot two very minimalist arrangements from the group. Cook’s vocal add that human dimension to the robotic rhythms of the machines.

George Smeddles and LondonGround touch down on Neverdogs’ Bamboleo Records to close November as they deliver the latest split EP on the label entitled ‘Dopamine Games’
Founded in early 2019, Neverdogs’ Bamboleo Records imprint continues further its ever-growing reputation as a hub for quality productions across the house spectrum, with releases to date from the label bosses themselves alongside a selection of emerging talent and close friends that represent their vision, with each taking one side of a record and delivering productions that showcase their own sound. The latest instalment in the split EP series sees the introduction of two fresh artists, with Resonance Records co-founder George Smeddles making his debut on the label following releases on the likes of Sola, VIVa and more, whilst Argentinian producer DJ LondonGround helms the flip as both producers deliver two original cuts each to form their ‘Dopamine Games’ EP.
Opening the release, ‘Games’ quickly unravels into a slick groove-heavy production guided by soulful vocal hooks and rich stabs, whilst ‘Feeling’ sees Smeddles lay the focus on bumping sub-bass and rolling percussion arrangements throughout. Enzo Siragusa releases four alternative cuts from his Decade of Rave double album project, entitled The Lost Dubs. All lean towards the FUSE label head’s darker taste, and darker side of production.

It’s no secret that Enzo takes a significant amount of inspiration from his formative years immersed in London’s invigorating Jungle, Drum n Bass, and Hardcore scene of the early 90s. A dance floor you’d not only find yourself encased in music on but feel it from your core. When in the studio, Enzo strives to emulate that feeling which you’ll heavily hear through the FUSE back catalogue, and when on the dance floor during his sets.
