From a small town not far from Antwerp and currently based in Ghent, Belgium, Kr!z’s passion for blending tracks goes back to the early two thousands and has since seen him touring the world, sharing the decks with just about anyone you can think of, with a comfortable residency at the infamous Kozzmozz parties in Ghent. 

Known for his mixes, and now hitting hard in the world of production with a few releases including a shared EP with Pfirter on Mindtrip, Kr!z’s productions serve the same purpose as his label : to arm him with the perfect tracks to get the club moving.

This week we have a very special guest mix from LA Techno Legend, Developer.

Developer is one of a few active DJ/Producers that emerged from the Los Angeles Techno scene in the early 1990's. After ending his residency as a DJ on radio station 88.7FM kspc in 1995, Developer "Adrian Sandoval" Became the Import & Export Manager of the first dedicated techno distribution company on the west coast " Entity Music Distribution " which distributed top labels such as Axis Records, Reload Belgium, Plus 8, as well as a wealth techno label's from Detroit, Chicago and around the world. 

Over the last 3 decades Developer has played alongside many of the elite techno talents from around the globe as well as taking part in laying a foundation in the LA Techno culture by producing events and exposing various first time international talents throughout the mid 1990's to late 2000's. Developer gained much of his acclaim and extensive performance history from his strong marathon sets and quick programming skills as well as the ability of playing 50 tracks per hour on 3 turntables with effect processor and sampler.

Developer continues to thrive as one of the most interesting techno mixmasters from the Americas as well as the birth of his label Moduarz which features productions and remixes from some of his early contemporaries in Los Angeles as well as a few established and emerging talents from around the world.

He made his debut last year on our station with The Composers 007 episode, which featured a solid set composed exclusively of his own productions, showcasing his avant-garde and daring vision in music production, with meticulous excellence in equalization and mastery in mixing, a recipe for relentless dance in its purest form, we recommend you to explore it if you haven't already done so.

We are honored to welcome him back for another round: The Art of Bernardo Hangar, continuing his luminary purpose of exploring the essence of its sound, combining energy, hypnotic rhythms, and raw elements. In this second installment, our prolific guest elevates the experience by unveiling pieces from his Darkforest label, along with exclusive unreleased tracks and from others well selected, creating an effortlessly captivating delivery.

As a result, nothing less than a mind-blowing mix, millimeter technique, dark rhythms, an elegant transition, and relevant determination that remains firm the State-of-the-art combat chapter from the hand of an expert in underground routines, committed to his own emotional and personal satisfaction and of course, that of his listeners.

The Spanish Techno movement of the 90s has names, one of them is Bernardo Hangar.
Born in Córdoba (Spain) Bernardo is a true veteran of the Techno scene.
He began subduing his style with the explosion of Electronic Body Music, making him one of the most avant-garde and risk-taking artists from southern Europe, and one of the first genuinely underground DJs in our community.

Three decades of living for his music and his personal dedication fostered a special connection with his work reflected in multitude of releases both on labels of recognized international prestige and on his own label: DarkForest

Bernardo Hangar sound is innovative and avant-garde providing an engaging experience into infinity.

Lost In Ether is 3 years old! Thank you for your constantly support. For this occasion we have something special - real legend of techno music. Takaaki Itoh at his best!

BIO:
Techno hit Japan hard in the early 90s, TAKAAKI ITOH was quickly impressed and intrigued with this new sound. The unique style of beats revealed the gateway to a new world of underground music in Japan - something he had never heard before. In 1994, Takaaki began to organize his own techno parties in his home of northern Japan.

By providing a fantastic lineup, his parties quickly became a success. In 1996, having decided that it was time to start making his own tracks, His Japanese style of techno was pure, unique and underground - nothing that had been heard before in Europe.

His reputation and popularity quickly spread all over the continent. He was becoming recognized as Japan's most underground and respected techno DJ.

As of 2001 he was getting offers to perform at large clubs and festivals all over Europe, like Awakenings, Berghain, Tresor. Promoters wanting him, party people loving him, Takaaki Itoh took the next step and started his own label Wols. Passion led to success and he became recognized as the top of the next generation of techno music.

We begin 2021's Global Vibe Radio programming with Adriana Lopez, the producer, DJ and @greyreport label owner widely acclaimed as Colombia’s leading techno figure who now resides in Barcelona, Spain.

Starting out in Bogota, where she cut her teeth holding down residencies at Club BarC, Cinema and La Sala whilst performing across her native country’s different cities, Adriana Lopez moved to Spain in 2003 where she quickly made a name for herself throughout Europe and beyond. With years of experience behind her, Lopez's deep understanding of techno is evident in her high quality and tasteful selections: mixing records with technical finesse that has led to appearances at the likes of DGTL Festival (Barcelona, Madrid), Village Underground (London), Faust and Vurt (Seoul), Lux Fragil (Lisbon), Vent (Tokyo), Mondo Disko (Madrid), Basement (New York), Berghain and Tresor (Berlin) and many more.

Meanwhile, as a producer Lopez has released on labels such as Stroboscopic Artefacts, Modularz, Semantica, PoleGroup, Mistress Recordings, Blocaus, ANGLS and 30D Records, as well as remixed Svreca, Pär Grindvik and Spencer Parker on each label owner's respective imprints. Upon her arrival in Barcelona, she also launched her very own platform, Grey Report, which has gone on to release music by artists like Developer, NX1, Takaaki Itoh, Lakej, Temudo, Nørbak and W.I.R.E. 

In 2021 Adriana Lopez’s release schedule will see her drop mind behind techno cuts on the likes of her own Grey Report, BPitch Control, Semantica, Sublunar and Lebendig, among others.
