Conocer el vinilo fue para ella el punto de partida para comenzar su andadura en la escena musical, en realidad, antes de empezar a pinchar, no había hecho absolutamente nada a nivel formativo en este campo.

Comienza a pinchar vinilos y es consciente del camino que le queda para llegar a producir así como de los artistas que actualmente sigue y apoya.

Su estilo es variable desde el techno más melódico y ambiental, al principio de sus sesiones, hasta el techno más oscuro y contundente claramente influenciado por estilos como el Tribe, el Tekno, y el Hardtechno que fueron en su momento los primeros ritmos que la hicieron enamorarse de la música electrónica en las raves de los no lejanos años 2000. 

Es el tipo de Dj al que le encanta ver al público moviéndose en la pista de baile.

Meeting vinyl was for her the starting point to begin her journey in the music scene, actually, before starting to play, she had done absolutely nothing at a formative level in this field. 

She starts playing vinyl and is aware of the way she has left to get to produce as well as the artists she currently follows and supports.

Her style is variable from the most melodic and environmental techno, at the beginning of her sessions, to the darker and blunt techno clearly influenced by styles like Tribe, Tekno with K, and Hardtechno that were in the moment the first rhythms that made her fall in love with electronic music in the raves reminiscent of the not far years 2000.

The kind of Dj that loves to see the crowd moving on the dancefloor.

Ces prochains mois j’inviterai des artistes qui m’inspirent au quotidien. Je puise mes inspirations dans toutes les cultures, à commencer par la Turquie (mon pays d’origine), et également en Amérique latine (Colombie, Argentine), et en Europe (Pays-Bas, Royaume-Uni, Allemagne). Des artistes venus d’ici et d’ailleurs se succèderont ces prochains mois. 

Ce mois-ci j’ai le plaisir d'inviter @sinistermind_r, aka Pablo Vivas, un DJ et producteur colombien émergent, très doué, que je suis depuis un moment. Il a accepté de répondre à mes questions ci-dessous, je l’en remercie !

Hello Pablo, who are you ?

I'm Juan Pablo Vivas Aka Sinistermind producer an DJ from Bogotá, Colombia inspired by hip hop, organic sounds of nature. I've been making music for 6 years I started producing some hip hop beats and playing on best underground techno partys a along time. After some years I went to Denmark to study music production and now I live in Mexico city. 


How would you describe your mix?

This mix is deep! it has a lot of new music some unreleased from my next album (Punto Caliente) and some from a friends. Also has some tracks of my library with some of the best producer’s of nowadays I think. I love envolver sounds and dub atmospheres some times I love being rush too <3


Which artists, DJs, producers inspire you?

Some of artist that inspire me along my way on techno has been: Ben Clock, Setaoc Mass, Dax J, Ben Sims, Rene Wise, Yan Cook, Extrawelt, Dubfire, Oliver Huntemann and a lot more :) but I think those are some of my best watching them.


What was your best moment on stage?

I think some of the best moments on stage has been with my family Overground / Sensor / TNR [Bogotá, Colombia] more than 3.000 souls dancing with my rhythms love it!


What is your B2B dream?

My b2b dream I think can be Ben Klock.

Estamos muy contentas de presentar a la siguente artista que viene a formar parte de nuestra serie de podcasts.

Pero este no es un podcast de techno cualquiera. Estamos trayendo energía femenina a la mesa, mostrando el poder y la fuerza de las mujeres en la comunidad techno.

En este mix, @yeeliv te llevará a un viaje hipnótico por el lado más oscuro de la música techno. Con una atmósfera sombría constante y un groove impulsivo, serás transportado a un mundo donde el ritmo nunca se detiene y la energía nunca se desvanece. Comienza con una línea de bajo profunda y palpitante que establece el estado de ánimo para el viaje hipnótico que se avecina. Una serie de sonidos de sintetizador misteriosos entran gradualmente, creando una atmósfera inquietante. El ritmo comienza con un bombo constante que aumenta lentamente en intensidad, agregando diferentes capas de elementos de percusión a lo largo del set.

YEELIV, es una DJ que desde 2017 ha creado un lugar en la escena underground como una de las representantes más importantes de techno en Lima - Perú. 

Sus mezclas principalmente contienen sonidos profundos, hipnóticos y con una base marcada de groove,  basándose así en el raw/ hypnotic techno como su mayor referente de estilo musical.

A lo largo del tiempo ha participado en colectivos de distintas ciudades del país e internacionalmente en ciclos como TerraFuria - Argentina, E-Club - Argentina, Eternal - Uruguay, Nowyoutech - Turquía, y Deepicnic - Reino Unido. En la actualidad, se muestra con apariciones en las más sólidas fiestas de techno y clubes de su país, y a su vez, marcha como cofundadora de su proyecto Griterío.

In this mix, @yeeliv will take you on a hypnotic journey through the darker side of techno music. With a consistent dark atmosphere and driving groove, you'll be transported to a world where the beat never stops and the energy never fades. It starts with a deep, pulsating bassline that sets the mood for the hypnotic journey ahead. A series of eerie and mysterious synth sounds gradually come in, creating a haunting atmosphere. The beat starts with a steady kick drum that slowly builds up in intensity, adding different layers of percussive elements. 

YEELIV, is a DJ who since 2017 has created a distinctive place in the underground scene as one of the most important representatives of the techno scene in Lima, Peru.

Her mixes mainly contain deep, hypnotic sounds with a prominent groove base, thus basing herself on raw/hypnotic techno as her main musical reference.

Over time, she has participated in different cities of her country, and internationally in collectives such as TerraFuria & E-Club (ARG), Eternal (UY), Nowyoutech (TR) and Deepicnic (UK). Currently, she works with appearances in the most solid techno parties and clubs in her country, and at the same time, she marches as co-founder of her project Griterío.
