He clipped my wings, and filled my mouth with flowers.

My eyes they glisten with tears of horses.

My skin was blue, when exposed to moonlight.

I became his chameleon. He drew his teeth into my flesh.

Caged into his ribs, breathing throughout his mouth.

Until the earth shattered, you came and rose with fire.

Like wolves hunting through the night,

you found my scent, of jasmine and blood.

I hid in your white fur, while the sun guided us through.
