What's up guys, hope you're all good.

Something a little different from me with this mix. Retro was the first BIG event I wet to back in the early 00's, even though I had attended other events before this, this was the one that I really fell in love with.. 

Every second Saturday of the month at the legendary Tall Trees / Club M superclub in the small town of Yarm in the North East was always special.  The pre-parties, the main event & the after-parties were some of my most favourite days, spent with some amazing friends, some I still share that friendship with.

Retro - One Night At Tall Trees

14 years ago a new club night was about to be unleashed in the UK, that night was Goodgreef. From its early days at Philips Park Hall in Manchester too its Worldwide Tours and hosting arena's at some of the biggest festivals, Goodgreefs home was Tall Trees Yarm. 

For over 10 years, Goodgreef at Tall Trees brought some of the biggest names in Trance, Hard Dance & Hard Trance including... Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Matt Hardwick, Scot Project,  Organ Donors, Lad 4, Tidy Boys, Kutski and Judge Jules but, for all the Superstar Djs that graced the Tall Trees Dj Booth, Goodgreef was one of the first brands to put its faith in their resident djs. Eddie Halliwell, Alex Kidd, Shan, Adam Sheridan & the late Barry Connell.

These Djs went on to become some of the biggest names in dance music and helped create one of the biggest dance music brands ever.

Ben is known for his ability to play a wide range of music genres covering Trance, House, Hard House & Hard Dance. He is a current resident for Manchester-based brand 'Resurrection' and has played at events such as Tidyland Weekender, Kiddstock Festival, Feersum, Goodgreef Xtra Hard, Bring The Noise & Twist to name a few, playing alongside the likes of The Tidyboys, Lisa Lashes, Kutski, Andy Farley & K90 along the way

Production-wise, Ben has had releases on pretty much all the big labels in the Hard House scene including Tidy Trax, Vicious Circle, Overdose, Feersum, Toolbox Recordings & Shock Records as well as his label Hi-Five Digital gaining several number-one releases on the Toolbox Digital Chart.
