This is my first track in a while. Give me some feedback. Let me know what I can improve on. I need a new laptop to mix a little better. It runs a bit slow, so even putting a compressor on just one thing and the song starts clipping.

Fade Away (Rough Mix)

. Taken back to the days of Nintendo 64, this Drum & Bass type beat is a tribute to my childhood gamer. Mario Kart, Nintendo Racing Games, and a bit of Mario 64 were in mind when producing this. All sounds were made in FLStudios.

World 1 - Level 4

New Hip Hop Beat! Alot grittier than Jack in the Box, I sampled The Seatbelts' "Cat Blues" this time. It's still got that bounce to it for a nice flow. Two 16 bar verses and there 8 bar choruses. There's also a DnB break towards the end. I felt inspired after R4T's Pure Euphony show last night, I went to work on a beat. Hope you Enjoy!

Litterbox

Sampled the Beatles this time! Sounds like if a Tongan produced the beat for "Do Yo Chain Hang Low" The song I sampled is "Piggies" and I went for an electric bass sound with some bass grooves. The verse beat I modeled after the breakdown at the end of "Heard em Say" by Kanye West Feat Adam Levine. Just a silly sounding beat, but I like the way it turned out. As you can tell, I've gone back to sampling. It's alot of fun taking a bit of a song, and making a completely different one out of that!

Smells like Bacon

A simpler beat, I had trouble coming up with an idea this week. After a few days on the Outkast Pandora station and Eminem tracks on the way to work, I came up with this one today. It sounds alot like Dr. Dre, to give you an idea of how much I've been listening to his tracks. Two 16 bar Verses and 3 eight bar choruses, which include the beginning chorus and the outro. Very laid back. 

The Doctor's Office

New song! Working alot more with the VSTs and stuff. Steven was also able to show me how to EQ and compress my sounds. It's making my laptop lag like crazy, but I'm alot happier with the sounds. Very Synth ladden beat. Has a reggae breakdown and a build up at the beginning. Hope you enjoy!

Tanks and Beanies

Old school beat. First beat I used a sample that I made. The song sampled is Portrait of Tracy by Jaco Pastorius. Vocals were taken from a female vocal sound pack and the scratching was taken from another sound pack. Reminiscent of A Tribe Called Quest. One of my favourite beats. The first verse is 18 bars and the rest are 16. 4 verses altogether with 8 bar hooks in between and a fade out at the end.
