This song is pretty good, but it’s also kinda emo. 8.75/10

Reach For The Stars - Sonic 30th Anniversary Symphony

The second I heard this theme, I instantly fell in love with it, and it was pretty much my entire reason for giving the game a try to begin with. I've felt that Gamefreak's use of midi instruments for their recent games has always been an odd choice, so I wanted to try to make things sound a bit more real, especially with the guitars. I also wanted to emphasize a bit of tragedy and emotion, especially towards the end, but I also wanted to keep that feeling that you are fighting an insane AI construct.

📺 They showed me heroes on the screen —  
Flawless faces, perfect speeches, poster smiles.  
But something felt *off*.  
None of it looked like the world I actually live in.

📚 Social studies says “remember the past,”  
But the past is cracking under the weight of its own mistakes.  
And now they want *us* — the next generation —  
To trust a system they broke?

⚠️ Paper crowns. Paper wars. Paper promises.  
It all feels so *thin* —  
Like we were handed a story written by people too scared to live in reality.

🔥 This isn’t rebellion for the sake of noise.  
This is clarity. This is rage *with reason*.  
We’re done idolizing figures who never saw us.  
We’re building new truths. New maps. New heroes —  
Real ones.

Because this world needs more than paper to survive.
