Originally from Bristol, UK, Ben was immersed in soundsystem culture from an early age. He started collecting vinyl in his teens and developed a passion for the heavier side of electronic music. With his formative years spent mixing vinyl, studying African percussion and playing drums and recording for rock/rap group Band of Crooks, he moved on to play with some of the best underground DJ's, producers and musicians in Aotearoa, Australia and UK. Ben has played a myriad of parties and events including Newtown Festival, Cuba Dupa, Kiwi Burn, Toots Suite Festival (Salmonella Dub, Laughton Kora, Pheonix Foundation), Breakaway Magical Doof Bus (Paige Julia, Young Gho$t, House MD), Cuba Dupa, Sydney Rd Street Festival (Melbourne), Cafe Blue (UK), Castros (UK).
Ben-Jammin knows what is needed to keep a dancefloor alive, comfortably switching between genres to suit the mood.
