Enter Planet Dust's next release is our first album, courtesy of Manuel Jesus aka World Wild Web. His debut LP will follow lead single Cursed Fruits which drops on March 31st. 

World Wild Web's organ, guitar and drum machine-led music nods to the global Cosmic continuum, and explores themes of anxiety, overconsumption and Web 3.0. The album features creative and catchy vocal dance tracks in both English and French (Colony, La Nuit, Je Mange Des Animaux, The Best Is Yet To Come), scrappy guitar anthems (Pills, Don't Quit!, Scrolling) and exotic Cosmic joints aplenty (PA 2, M-Gola, Druid Dance). We at Planet Dust are reminded of the likes of Suicide, Rizan Sa'id, DJ Stefan Egger and more.

A beautiful thing about growing up in a smaller town, is that you eventually will bump into the few like minded people who live there. And when you do, you hold on.
Since school our click has slowly intertwined through different small underground gatherings. And now 20 years later we're still in the same scene making magic together.
Proud to introduce you to some of them here at Bøx Bøx first Various Artist Compilation.

$UN€ULT - Behind this alias we have Klas Isaksson, the devoted club arranger and techno producer, and his best friend DJ and producer Lex Ludlow. Together they explore music through long hours of deep talk, that result in moody deep electronic music. From the studio of Klas, they captured this 10 minutes long modular live jam, where they let the 909 stand firm with the 606 on top, and all softly combined with the amplitude of the jupiter 6, into this groovy sweet piece.

Benmir - Producer, live performer, DJ, and engineer at Softube. He has gained local recognition for curating various electronic events and live sets across the plains of Östergötland for the past decade. After years of waiting for his first release, we have finally seized this rare bird. 'Gungfly' is a track that draws inspiration from the areas of miry land, which occurs next to murky lakes in the northern parts of Sweden. This natural phenomenon is commonly used as a metaphor for a difficult situation, but in this track Benmir offers a broader perspective. With a silky smooth vesture and a heavy dubby groove Gungfly captures a beautiful soundscape.

Inter Gritty - The Random Island dad, that for 10 years has been releasing tasteful curated vinyls. He's been spreading love with his different alias at various clubs around europe, and been a central part of the electronic dance scene in Norrköping. His Lost and Found track has a driven electro builder with smooth moving pads and a pounding beat.

Zip n Rar - The duo that includes Joakim "Beebop" Nybom and Kim Nilson, who long ago started their limitless friendship in the band Slagsmålskubben. They have been making music and touring together, sharing homes and clothes and now finally releasing their love baby Zip n Rar. A project that's been lurking under the surface for 10 years. As pioneers of the electronic dance scene in Norrköping they had a great impact on the number of forthcoming talented musicians from our home town. Their track, 2 guns 1 cop is a dramatic meeting of a solid groove and their signature sounds, all merged in an interesting build up with frolic drops.

Lex Ludlow - When Lex found this crew, she was a tailor/designer, and through an art collective where they did parties and fashion shows together, she fell in love with the electronic dance scene. During the years, she did everything around music except producing. But when the lookdown slowed Lex down, she finally downloaded Ableton, and since that day, she's been stuck in the studio, releasing music and DJing frequently. Her track, My Love is a ruff and groovy tune with dull acid basslines fused with moving arpeggiated synth lines.

Osch - Producer, live performer and visual art creator. This man has been playing amazing live sets since the 00s. He has a way of bending electronic music into the dark unknown and
at the same time, letting a warm pad, or a melody embrace you with its glow. After his last gig at our local members club Evigheten, we were swept away by this unforgiven raw force, and we kindly asked if we could pick it out from the live set straight into this Family Portrait VA.

We are back on digital and do it properly with a new solid EP, made up by five original electronic tracks plus a killer remix, from the milanese duo nICo & GrandRiviera.

The album "Light Echoes" is the result of a long time collaboration between childhood friends Niccolò Gobbi and Federico Civardi.
The project was born back in 2019, when the duo met for a jamming session at Federico’s studio and began to experiment with machines and rhythms. A few sessions later, the structure of "Disco Paradiso" was completed, becoming the track of the EP that they feel the most connected to because it marked the beginning of this adventure.
"Heat-Haze Controller", "Stalled Memory", "Heavy Cycle" and "Cosmic Orchestra" followed it shaping the concept behind this work: the exploration of vary sonic sensations, enriched by bold basslines, distorted industrial pads, rarefied synthesizers and acid sounds, creating an ethereal atmosphere.

It took a few years to take this EP to completion, which was entirely produced in the same way it started: at Federico's studio, featuring sounds from a bunch of analog synths and FX such as Roland SH201, Crumar Cougar (an organ from 1969!), Korg Minilogue, Model D and Pro1, Roland JU-60A, Nord Drums and Roland Space Echo, plus some beloved VSTs like Roland 303 and various samples.
Their mutual love towards spacey electronica is always the focus, while maintaining a dance approach that is a relevant part of their composing process.

Acclaimed french Dj and producer Romain FX completes the release offering a stompy interpretation of "Stalled Memory", giving it a little Italo touch with an acid character and a rolling bassline to provide ecstatic dancefloor moments.

Moozeic, a project created by Joici Borges and Manuella Wintrich in 2015 from Jaraguá Do Sul, Brazil, returns to the Mexican imprint Kyma Komplex to reveal their latest extended play, titled 'Continuum 6'. The EP features two amazing original mixes and is accompanied by four outstanding remixes by Cometran, Luca Lucena, Forest Louche & Lorran.

Moozeic is created with the aim of expressing experiences and knowledge lived by the duo through music. The exceptional introduction to this journey is 'Continuum 6'. The resounding synthesizers and percussion beat create an ancestral atmosphere that begins to elevate us to a higher state of mind, allowing us to connect with the source.

Once the connection is made, 'Pandora 9' starts with the mystical, astral synthesizers and organic elements that melt and suck you into the endless tunnel, showing us the story of our life, our memories, our moments. It's our creation that makes each one distinct and irreplaceable. Crafted from unique experiences, it becomes an unparalleled masterpiece.

Regarding the remix duties of 'Continuum 6', it starts with Cometran, offering a cut that is more chaotic and energetic, filled with electrifying sounds, a solid arp-bass line, glitchy percussions, and a booming drum. Its hypnotic and frenetic quality continues in the trance state. Next comes Luca Lucena with his version of 'Pandora 9', featuring a resonant synth pad, alarms, punchy kicks, and the eastern vocal. This evokes an atmosphere reminiscent of bygone decades with retro-futuristic and spatial touches, showcasing a versatile sound.

The final two remixes, made by Forest Louche & Lorran, are equally remarkable. The first is oriented towards the dancefloor, based on futuristic timbres, immersed in a tropical forest, with clear vocals, reverberating percussions, and blazing synths. Finally, the EP concludes with Lorran’s remix. It's playful and mysterious, resonant and hallucinating, with haunting vocals that feel like they're taking you deep inside.

Roman Flügel and Andrew Weatherall supply two outstanding remixes of Phil Kieran recent album ‘Blinded By The Sun’, which David Holmes claimed is “one of the best electronic dance inspired records in recent times.”

Mixmag described Phil Kieran as “one of those producers that impresses with every release” so it comes as no surprise that two music heavyweights have jumped on board for remix duty. Kieran accounts Flügel and Weatherall to both having a heavy influence on his career.
German DJ and producer Roman Flügel is easily one of the most revered names in the dance music spectrum. His take on ‘No Life’ is a masterclass in production. Flügel has created a track that is powerful whilst also superbly intricate. Flügel holds over twenty years of experience, extensively releasing on a number of labels whilst also co-founding Ongaku, Klang and Playhouse Recordings.

UK born DJ and producer maestro Andrew Weatherall remixes ‘Finds Love’ and reminds the listener of how beautiful electronic music can be. Combining cosmic layers with the ethereal vocal, this is a lesson in what a remix means. Weatherall has been experimenting with techno since the 90s, and well regarded as one of the world’s most influential DJs.
Kieran created a ten track narrative in ‘Blinded By The Sun’, inspired by his experiences in the industry. It was met with high acclaim globally and this remix package further imprints his vision on pioneering imprint Hot Creations.
