New Yesterday is a new duo project from singer/songwriter, Jae Franklin and music producer/beatmaker, Ben Bada Boom, inspired by the classic early 2000’s R&B and Soul music era. 

Their self-titled project, New Yesterday, features Jae’s signature soprano vocals and emotional lyrics and Ben Bada Boom’s inimitable tight beats and playful synths. 

Jae Franklin had this to say about the project's inception – "In 2017, we collaborated on our very first song called ‘Stay” and it received worldwide support. The energy has remained the same up to now. Our process flows like water. I write all the lyrics and record all of the vocals. Ben Bada Boom produces all of the songs and mixes as well. There is a certain ease to our collabs. They’re never rushed or forced. They always have that magic. This year we created the project of our dreams. The songs are simply a reflection on everything happening in my life and the world around me. You’d think the songs are mainly about love, but they go deeper than that if you listen closely.”
