Composed around October 2012 and previously unreleased, this track will soon be  part of my 'Collection' of compilation and standalone tracks released as an album through Bandcamp on January 3rd 2013.

Weight Of The Sea was recorded specifically for a Power Lunches charity compilation that is as yet unreleased. Power Lunches is a venue and art cafe in London that I have played a few times. In 2012 they were having trouble paying their rent and Daryl Worthington (aka Kostoglotov) who put on 'Tell Me What To Do' club nights there asked me to contribute a track.

This track is built from field recordings of Rua Augusta and air conditioning drone from my hotel room in Sao Paulo on a Zoom H2 Handy Recorder. The ambient guitar is an old sample I found on the H2.
