Grime meets Drag. The idea of this project was to blend UK Grime and it's masculinity with Drag Queen culture and it's femininity.

I've always struggled to open up to people about my feelings, let alone to someone you have strong feelings about. However, in an era where our generation is known for bottling things up, my heart is telling me that opening up about it all is the right thing to do. This song is deeply personal and private to me and almost would of never been heard by anyone at all because it's raw, genuine and sensitive to my current situation. It's never the best to feel something for someone that doesn't feel the same way about you, but I think this makes the song relatable as it's something lots of us have had to experience at some point throughout life. You genuinely can't walk down the street in Manchester without seeing several people heads down, hypnotized into  their phones. I'm guilty of it, and chances are you're probably guilty of it too.

On the bus, on the train, even whilst people are driving cars with their children inside. You see the parent with one hand on the wheel, the other on the phone.

Social media was made to make us feel more connected, and in the end its slowly making us feel more disconnected and isolated. I can't help think it might be linked into the rising mental health epidemic in our generation, its not the only reason but its definitely a slice of the mental health pie. Yknow?

Alas, I am deciding to take a step back from my phone and social media for abit. I am deleting Snapchat and Instagram permanently from my phone today AND deleting Facebook for a few weeks until the next song comes out just as an experiment to see if my mental health improves after spending some more time with my head faced up.
