Since releasing on Reinforced at the age of 16, Dominic Stanton has always remained one of the most influential producers in the west London broken beat scene. Those early adventures via numerous successful aliases laid the foundations for Dom's sound, eventually leading to the launch of 'Sonar's Ghost' in 2013.

Welcoming Sonar's Ghost to Metalheadz is now long overdue, so it's a pleasure to be showcasing 'The Fall and Rise Of...' as part of the Metalheadz Platinum series this July. Consisting of 5 collabs, 4 of them making the vinyl cut, the release draws inspiration from the rich heritage of jungle and breakbeat, effortlessly weaving together intricate rhythms and immersive textures. Prime Time_ Bruce Odland Big Band

A series of live improvs recorded during testing shortly after restoration and the construction of a custom keyboard console based around a rare 1965 Cordovox CG polyphonic tube synthesizer by D.A.Wilson for Will Gregory (of Goldfrapp) at Hideaway Studio.  This heavily modified instrument is one of a kind and destined for an exciting new life.

As a follow up to last years El-B anthology mixtapes, part 3 is now ready for ya!
This time the mix does not live up to its title completely, since this also includes a couple of digital files. The reason for this is that I received a bunch of dubplates from El-B himself, and there has been some digital only releases of older tunes which was released recently. The mix will hopefully serve the purpose of an appendix, since it is more varied in the sound than the two earlier parts, which in contrast contained the main part of the his dark UKG sureshots.

El-B - Selected Vinyls Part 3 (mixed by Mr. Revealomaniac)

Is there a connection between noise and money?  Which sounds are healing to us as humans, and which are damaging? And what does an abandoned water tank in Colorado have in common with the Taj Mahal or a Gothic cathedral?

These are questions that sound artist and composer Bruce Odland has been pondering for decades. Odland is known for his large-scale, public space sound installations which transform city noise into harmony, realtime. 

Bruce recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to save an abandoned water tank in Colorado. The Tank is considered one of the sonic marvels of the world within a certain circle of composers and sound artists.

Bruce's work attempts to resurrect our buried aural senses. During my interview, you'll hear a number of Bruce's compositions, including a water and snow harp (created and recorded outdoors), music recorded at The Tank in Colorado, and complex musical pieces that transform noisy urban landscapes into deeper experiences.
