Lithuania is undoubtedly one of the countries leading the direction of contemporary dance electronics for some time. We are happy that we can give space to their young promising DJs in our podcast.

Born and raised by the Vilnius atmosphere, Roudtraxx has been part of the local underground club scene for several years. He is part of the well-known record store and label Discotag, where he has plenty of opportunities to devote himself, as he says, to his musical obsession.

For us, he has prepared a selection of his favourite club tracks. It is up to you to decide what a fresh breeze sounds like from a distant land.

This is the recording of a small, quite improvised live performance of the 29.08.20.
The performance took place as part of an weekend exhibition at the rooftop of  -1 (Eksibir), Tophane, Istanbul, at warm and clear summer night. 
The volume was quite low because of the neighbours, which as i think, added to the sensitivity and concentration of the situation and enabled me and the audience to listen as relaxed as in our own living room.

The setup included a Bassstaion II, a SH01a, a Casiotone MT-68, Korg AX3000G, a Kaospad Sampler and a CDJ.

"December means this is the very last episode of 2020.
For this occasion I chose to reflect a little bit on what has happened this year and how hilarious the people reacted to it.
I suppose it has a more playful approach and somehow aims to make fun of the western world and their problems by mixing songs with samples from youtube videos. It contains some beautiful pieces by M Squared artists, Robert Wyatt and Softmachine and many more,
as well as even more beautiful samples of anti-corona protests, psychedelic televangelist, Kim Kardashian searching for her 75.000 $ earring and queen Elizabeth trying to calm everybody down.
