A world-famous writer once said: “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” In Tomas Heredia’s case, the universe is certainly lending a hand. His talents are on the rise, his sounds spreading fast. For good reason, his new ‘Alchemist’ E.P. on the Aropa label will tell you.

With his roots in Buenos Aires, it’s no wonder that the Argentinean temperament resounds in his tunes. On his journey to the top, he brought us ‘Lost’, ‘Hurricane’ and Chris Schweizer collab ‘Darksiders’. With Dash Berlin heavily supporting his work, it’s no wonder that only shortly after his producer debut, he’s on for his Aropa debut.  ‘Alchemist’  has the heart of a ballad and the guitar of a perfect summer’s night,  but the power of a peak-time trancer. Don’t forget its heartrending B-side though. ‘When I’m With You’ has that warm, melodic feel that simply grabs you.

Being able to stand out in the overflowing sea of EDM these days, is more than luck to upcoming producer Solid Stone. Following his strong Re*Brand debut, is the Cycles 4 approved ‘Identity’ and equally impressive ‘Grid’.

Elias Barouche has caught the right wind to surf. After getting his songs championed by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and of course Re*Brand owner Max Graham, his ‘Surge’ and ‘Torpor’ paved the way for more Solid Stone goodies to come. 

And here they are. ‘Identity’ made a perfect addition to Graham’s Cycles 4 compilation, rocking it with its synth-loaded groove and a perfect mix of prog and trance. On ‘Grid’, Solid Stone shows to be more than capable of handling both styles, swinging from deep, proggy beats to a warm, melodic break. Let’s hope Re*Brand’s got many more Solid Stone’s on the menu.

When premiered by Armin van Buuren in front of ten-thousands of screaming fans at A State of Trance 600 Sao Paolo, you know you’ve had a great kick-off. Right there, the rocking tune of ‘Rio’ by Klauss Goulart and Mark Sixma became the latest sensation. Time to start shaking, as the sound of the drum lands on Armind!

Brazilian producer Klauss Goulart is no rookie to game. Building a reputation through the impressive ‘Turbulance’, ‘Deep Universe’, ‘No Man’s Land’ and collabs with Kid Alien and M6, the talent is steadily climbing up the top. He invited Dutch talent Mark Sixma, resulting in an outstanding piece of music that clearly celebrates life. 

‘Rio’ is big, bold and absolutely maddening. Its drums will get you, as will its blazing synths. Could this be our summer anthem?
