Jazzing I is the latest EP by T.A.M in collaboration with The Vortex Devils, a project born from the harmonious blend of Colombian and Guatemalan artistry. It began as an exchange of admiration—The Vortex Devils, inspired by T.A.M's work, sought his feedback on their tracks. Yet, as if in a cosmic twist, the students transcended the teacher. They didn’t just learn; they elevated.

In this dynamic fusion, they fulfilled one of T.A.M's long-held dreams: weaving the essence of jazz into the pulse of techno. The result is not just music—it’s an evolution, a testament to the boundless creativity that emerges when passion and inspiration collide.

Joe Arroyo (1955–2011) was an unrepeatable creator. From Colombia’s Caribbean coast, he forged a sound that crossed borders and generations. His voice did more than perform melodies: it told the stories of a people, of a rhythm born from mixture and mestizaje. With Joeson, he left a legacy that remains alive, because he understood that music is both memory and freedom.

“La Tortuga” carries that essence. It is a song that may seem light, yet in its cadence it reminds us that life does not need to rush to have meaning. Each beat holds the joy, irony, and depth of an artist who turned the everyday into a universal journey. To listen is to recognize that within simplicity lives the eternal.
