Ninja Exotic Machine is a duo formed by Matteo Coffetti and Kakofonico. The project was born from a shared musical vision in which tribal rhythms are combined with tight electronic drum and deep basslines.

Wokatikitanku, their debut ep, it’s a fusion of Matteo’s weird-esoteric vocals floating on broken grooves together with arpeggios mixed with oriental melodies through which they create an intimate sound where the mystical meets the contemporary.

The wind blew softly through the trees, the branches danced softly atop the breeze as the pine needles fell softly towards the forest floor. The only sound which could be heard was the rippling waters – they flowed gently down from the hillside upon a great old river which had once boasted tales and stories of people who rode the waves long ago.

Some might say that there was magic in this place. Others had chosen to forget it long ago.

Re:Conceive 2 is a collection of tracks from artists living in Tiohtiá:ke:, so-called ‘montréal’, which is raising money for The Native Women’s Shelter and The Just Solutions Clinic. It aims to activate solidarity between indigenous peoples, settlers, immigrants and refugees alike. Electronic music is a potent conduit in this process, in reclaiming space where just realities might be cultivated or imagined.

This track comes from RAMZi, one of the most interesting musicians and producers of the moment.

Benjamin Philippe Zulauf drops a stripped-back and atmospheric deep tech/deep techno release via his record label, Hummingbird by BPZ.

The three tracks on this release are in Benjamin Philippe Zulauf's trademark style, which fuses raw percussion and analogue synths, similar to what he has released via imprints such as Claap Rec, Vekton Black and Fourier Transform.

"Redheads" has a framework of solid percussion that's overlaid by rippling pads and fizzing hi-hats, while rhythmic stabs add a jackin' flow to the immersive groove.

It was a frosty morning and the pavement was slippery underfoot. She noticed the old man trying to cross the road cautiously and offered him her arm. He obliged and she walked and talked with him all the way home about family, current affairs and the ways of the world. She had made it her mission to do at least one positive deed a day, one good thing for somebody else but herself. It gave her happiness and fulfilment to bring joy into another's life. Maybe one day this would all come back to her in some way...

Russian producer Panorama Channel team up with fellow Russian-born, Lithuanian-based producer Pletnev for a new EP entitled Blavatsky. Both known for their individual exploits, Pletnev on labels like Fleeting Wax, Hard Fist, Bahnsteig 23 and Le Temps Perdu and Panorama Channel on Karakter as well as two previous EPs for Biologic, the label their new collaborative EP is coming out on. The pair bring a hypnotic, psychedelic quality to the three original tracks that feature whirring melodies, driving beats and dramatic synths, while You're Me's Yu Su and Moscow's Simple Symmetry bring their own signature styles on the remix.
