Introduction to Viking Language 1 Audio Lessons 1-8: Pronounce Old Norse, Runes and Icelandic Sagas

Dolphin vocalisations recorded in the Tasman National Park off the eastern coast of Tasmania. These recordings were captured from a boat with an A/B spaced pair of omnidirectional hydrophones. 

"Dolphins use echolocation to “see” objects underwater by producing high-frequency clicks and interpreting the echoes that return to them. They have complex social lives and modes of communication that are not fully understood by humans. This pod was curious about our hydrophones and decided to investigate, targeting them directly with clicks of surprising depth and variety.

Amos’ Flat is a three part album by VASE in collaboration with Opal Tapes & INDEX:Records: an odyssey of sonic manoeuvres through ambient, bass and IDM. This trilogy reveals VASE dissecting compositions down to sparse rhythmic explorations, disruptive power shifts and nebulous bass bliss.

Amos’ Flat: Room 1 will be sculpted into the physical form of a 12” vinyl record, released by INDEX:Records, followed by Opal Tapes reeling out Room 1 & 2 on double Cassette Tape.

Room 3 transcends into the digital, where VASE passes the brush to fellow artists, to rework into their own decorative pieces. Featured artists for Room 3 include Basic house, Fis, Katsunori Sawa, Shelley Parker and PYUR.

Moving from elegant beauty to rabid intensity while grounded by a firm sense of rhythm, his catalogue runs deep and wide. This expansive compilation filters out select highlights from across his discography, and reframes them as a compelling overview of a truly distinctive voice in modern electronic music.

From its creation in the late 90s until its closure in 2009, the Toytronic label witnessed a digital revolution that transformed the record industry, turning glitch into a production tool for a whole generation heir to the of bleep ‘n’ bass sound.

Thanks to their impeccable A&R credentials, its head honchos, Martin Haidinger and Chris Cunningham, created an incredible IDM label catalogue, as well as producing their own material under pseudonym Abfahrt Hinwil.
 
Their only album to date ‘Links Berge Rechts Seen’ [Toytronic, 2002] was released as a compilation featuring tracks from their brief career that over the years has become a benchmark for the Toytronic sound. This album included their first –and only– three releases signed to Expending Records and Toytronic, and also included two previously unreleased songs: ‘Planquadrat’ and a hidden track at the end of the CD version.

Lapsus proudly presents ‘Links Berge Rechts Seen’, which will be released on vinyl for the first time as part of our 'Perennial Series'. The collector’s format marbled 2LP will be accompanied by a double-sided lithographic print, which includes a unique and exclusive interview from Martin and Chris, talking to prestigious electronic music journalist Philip Sherburne.

The charity project promoted and curated by @enisslab #worldwidewindow features a healing frequency I recorded called "Tun" together alongside unreleased tracks by other 55 amazing artists. All the proceeds of this monumental compilation will be donated to the Red Cross and help them fight COVID-19.

Karmic Transfer is black magic used with white intention that is never in grey and fark neutrality. Seen with true sight it is a beautiful play of polychromatic bioluminescence. Just one little way in which I craft, fashion and inspire all that arises and that is. Inspiration runs my errant errands... multidimensional chi ball glitches!  It is the dream that dreams the dreamer is dreaming and all that we see or seem.
