rubbing-in sun cream.

Drama drips by slowly 
day by day in dreary weather broken by buffeted conversation like

The WiFi doesn't work.
The puppy, which was really cute last week, 
has pissed on the carpet, which is purple paisley chic,
And we've got a bit of hash for curled up cosy fizcaraldo on the sofa…
but we fell asleep before it was over and imposed our own denouement of half focused interest and false love,
A pretense for independence spending 
hours collecting references and anecdotes for trending.

I listen to the radio, waiting for repeats
I watch the news, waiting for innocent walls to crumble at a bomb
I do jigsaws, waiting for a missing piece
I string girlfriends along a washing line, waiting for them to say, what's wrong?

I watch cross country running for the crashes,
I visit elderly relatives to pick out urns for ashes,
I eat meat like Dexter if he was a vet
I vote, to see how angry I can get.

I lie in a bath of a stagnant lava lamp alone,
On display to the mirror of nature which holds up live fast die young teens who live young and then die fast.
It holds up superheroes and antiheroes and reluctant heroes and unexpected heroes and heroes and I am none of these.
I am, at best, unexpected herpes. Broken WiFi, pulling wires out of myself slowly like fibres of rope slipping from a tightly curled knot.

We endure dialogues of politics that end: yeah, it's shit isn't it?
Back and forths that toss around poverty between eastern Europeans and white working class and Muslims and try to stretch this out like it is key to unlocking the divisions we already exhibit
We are our own devils advocate, sitting on our shoulder, getting paid hand over fist by our own devils advocate, sitting on our shoulder getting paid hand over fist by our own devils advocate, getting paid hand over fist etc all so we keep quiet, keep our understanding to a minimum, keep from hurting ourselves, keep falling over in the dark.

Money makes me heavier with expectAtion and expectAtion of money - surely the stuff of dreams - makes me heavier with change, little bits of shrapnel from choices I could've made differently flecking my muscles sending shocks of short circuit electricity around me as I cycle to the job centre.

But past pffft

Maybe I am like some of the people I see on screens
Not the villain, but the one who waits for something bad to happen and pines for what choices could've been made differently
The poster boy of cynicism

Promotion is nepotism but still I sweat,

Knowing I essentially have fuck all use

I will die at the end of it
My death will be but a drop in this oceanic goblet of death we sling around our planet like a drunk womanizer.
And we will need it to drink like cyanide to chase down our soiled shale water.
Unless we have no water left. And then will we line our throats with crude oil and drink our death like it is waste.

I wanted to share a little bit what I've been working on.
I'm working towards a release with sitdownandance, some really nice guys here in Istanbul, and this is my first solo track that I've kind of 'finished'.
It's not exactly finished, at least because of the levels (which you will probably notice), and any feedback is very appreciated.
Normally I wouldn't make such a dark song, but hey look what happened.
