Get ready to turn up the volume and bust a move, because SNCD03 is about to drop! The record is the brainchild of Vancouver-based DJ and producer Garneau and SNC Records.

Garneau burst onto the scene with his debut EP "Old School" in 2018, and he's been slaying the game ever since. He's worked with some of the best in the business, including Paris Mitchell, DJ Deeon, and DJ Slugo, and now he's teaming up with SNC Records to deliver a record that's nothing short of mind- blowing. The idea for SNCD03 came about during Garneau's visit to the label in October ‘22, during a stay in Europe. The creative juices started flowing, and they quickly realized that the collaboration was a match made in musical heaven, and the result is a record that's memphis-inspired, and full of dynamic beats that'll keep you grooving all night long.

"We had an amazing time working with Garneau," said Valentin from SNC Records. "The EP is a true representation of the magic that can happen when creative minds come together, and we’re thrilled to share it with the world."

Salat is a DJ, producer and promoter from Grodno, the cultural capital of Belarus. Around 4 years ago Igor moved to Gdansk, Poland, where he concentrated on creating his own music. The next logical step was the creation of his personal eponymous music label "Salat". The first release from the label you about to hear has two highly energetic dance tracks on board: "Fine Line" and "Groove By". Powerful bass, pulsating drums and finely chopped samples/acappellas - an exemplary recipe of dance floor bangers. Perfect for prime time to amaze the crowd. Igor Salat also oversees his main music label Mastak Records with a new 12” vinyl coming by the end of the autumn 2023. Stay tuned!

The next transmission from SPLOT is courtesy of 2Shy. Half of a Warsaw duo Private Press. He comes through with the tuff 4-track EP where space meditations meet rolling beats. Extraterrestrial machine sounds act is a leitmotif of Khalma II where 2Shy seamlessly
blends syncopated rhythms with elements of UK techno-inspired workouts and tribal-dubbed out influences.

The opening track ’Aura Frequency’ is the full-bodied statement of the EP, channelling a distinct kind of spiritual energy and getting all hypnotic, organic, breaky and bass-centric. The title track ‘Khalma II’ brings focus to the mechanical soundscapes, drifting between
cold-metallic electro and the more dubbier side of things – all stemming from beloved 2Shy’s machines. Next up, ‘Maxi Edits’ seems to be paying homage to early pioneers of dubstep that got us into all of this; it’s a dreamy and dub-heavy tool, full of emotional flavour with smooth bass and soothing synth patterns. The last track ‘Linked’ is surely one of the most forward-thinking tunes of the EP, strictly dominated by massive drums and inspired by the futuristic 117 BPM hybrid of techno and dubstep.

We’d also like to give a big ‘thank you’ to the Xaoc family on behalf of 2Shy. His daily work with their gear has been a massive inspiration for him. You can hear the modules he calibrated and tested daily on ‘Linked’ and ‘Aura Frequency’.
