Spring is a welcome relief for this wintry weather and this next
release from PG regular, Aumcraft, 'Hologram EP', chills the listener with some great vibes of the original mix and the remixes.

Hologram (Original Mix)
In this nature-esque soundscape you'll find elements that combine the technological with the organic. Nostalgic treasures are found dynamic filters that fill one with nostalgia and relaxation in "Hologram".

Hologram (Crack D Remix)
Russian deep house producer Crack D, in all his deep house wonder, slaps a bass heavy remix of "Hologram" with some smoking hot vocal samples, which help to create an almost smokey atmosphere within its safe and comforting sound.

Hologram (Subalpine Remix)
Subalpine makes his debut on Pineapple Grooves with a remix of "Hologram". One bouncy, get up and go deep house vibe that is bound to charm you with it's chilled out and calming state. 

Hologram (Tanvir Ahmed Remix)
Welcoming Tanvir Ahmed amongst the ranks at PG, a much more spiritual journey awaits in this remix of "Hologram". An epic chorus warms the air as noise filters in and creates a feeling of travel through space on this truly unique piece.

Hologram (Technodreamer Remix)
Quite the prolific house producer, Technodreamer dives heavily into chopped slices of the original samples of "Hologram". While still keeping much of the same feel, a more upbeat vibe is presented with increased tempo and added percussion.

Hologram (Tyler Schauman Remix)
Pineapple Grooves resident DJ and producer Tyler Schauman gifts us with a composition that comes packed with a sweet head banging rhythm that can be found in the fatter bass lines and below the ascending piano arpeggio.

Russian talent PROFF makes his return to Silk Music with a stunning, 2-track drum & bass EP: "The Pole".

The title track takes off with an energetic soundscape, which includes numerous prominent beat layers and intricate sound effects. As the song progresses, stunning arpeggios and hypnotizing melodies emerge; in the break, blissful pads are at play, which unite beautifully with the existing elements. In the early going of "The Lights," a strong male vocal, united with unique sound effects, form a breathtaking atmosphere. The Original Mix takes off with a blissful atmosphere, including soothing pad layers, intricate background synths, and frisky percussion elements. As the song progresses, the energy is increased, and stunning melodies keep emerging throughout the track. Refreshing percussion elements are quickly introduced in the "Tranquility Dub Mix," while numerous, blissful synths play in the background. Later, a captivating arpeggio line emerges, which matches the changing bassline notes brilliantly. Feelings of romance and hope imbue the spring months, as well as the music released this time of year. We're thrilled to present five uplifting new cuts by Reimu, B.Exp & Lukas Solcani, Attila Syah, Monojoke, and Denis Laurent, which capture the optimistic mood of the spring season.

Nearly five years after his Silk debut ("Wonderland"), Beijing-based talent Reimu contributes the equally moving progressive trance masterpiece, "Lunarfall." The song's breathtaking climax features an achingly beautiful piano theme and an awe-inspiring drop. B.Exp (Russia) & Lukas Solcani (Slovakia) offer the poignant peak-hour anthem "Believe In Me," which was first previewed on last year's "Silk Royal Showcase 05" compilation. After a suspenseful build, we are treated to the titular refrain, which is followed by a stormy, yet beautiful chord progression. A vintage progressive house gem, "Twilight," arrives next, courtesy of first-time Silk contributor Attila Syah (Indonesia). A bouncy groove is met by a recurring, hypnotic vocal sample, as well as an ornately melodic soundscape. 

We are treated to two deeper cuts in the bottom half of the tracklist. Versatile Polish veteran Monojoke, whose phenomenal work with our imprint dates back to 2008, delivers a brand new remix of Espen & Shane Robinson's "In Motion." Monojoke's celestially inspired soundscape is both mellifluous and evocative. Finally, one of our most beloved past singles, Shingo Nakamura's "Hakodate," receives a chilled update from Russian veteran Denis Laurent. Delicate melodies are woven through a light groove, while the timeless lead chord progression gently carries the listener along.

We've got a trio of top shelf remixes that we packaged up for your consumption. Some of the best and brightest in the melodic deep house game are on offer here: Lian July, Chris Domingo, and KIWAMU.

We start off with Lian's take on Chris Domingo's “Steady”. She bounces the bassline to create an immediately memorable groove, with impeccable work in the breakdown to bring out the essence of the vocals and bass. Long reverb tails turn the vocals into their own haunting entity. This is a super fresh take on the original, and we've already confirmed that it works wonders on the dancefloor!

Next, Chris tags off and does his deep tech thing to Anthony Mea's “Something Is Wrong”. Spaced way out with reverb-drenched stingers and vocal hits, a number of propellant bass layers give massive weight to the original groove. Incredible refinement is to be found in all the sound design in this tune! It's a deep wanderer that'll keep feet moving without a doubt.

Finally, we have sunshine in a bottle, delivered courtesy of KIWAMU's remix of Blood Groove & Kikis' “Feeling”. Chords and pads are the name of the game here, along with some captivating chopped-up vocals to present a wonderfully upbeat tune. Funky bass fits in perfectly to seal up the mood!

Berlin’s Ryan Davis has carved out a niche all of his own over the past 10 years, releasing exquisite melodic techno and electronica on revered labels Bedrock, Traum, and his own Klangwelt label. Along the way he’s been championed by Sasha, Stephan Bodzin, Hernan Cattaneo and John Digweed, and collaborated with Max Cooper and Applescal. The ‘From Within EP’ marks his first original release on Anjunadeep following memorable remixes of Andrew Bayer and Olafur Arnalds.

The cinematic ‘Paper Rockets’ begins the EP in subtle fashion, showcasing Ryan’s talent for intricate production and mellow moods. ‘Brun’ a stand-out from last year’s ‘Anjunadeep 07’ compilation has the hallmarks of an Anjunadeep classic, combining club-ready sounds with emotional melodies that tug at the heart-strings.

‘Crawne’ takes things deeper and darker, blending a chugging slo-mo groove with spacey atmospherics. Ryan takes things full techno on ‘Undine’ a peak-time cut laced with dystopian soundscape and driving drums. We return to cinematic ambience on EP closer ‘Beyar’, a stunning slice of deft melodies and vivid celestial samples.

Danish artist and Silk Music co-owner Gorm Sorensen is back with a new original chillout song, "Opening Leaves." On remix detail are Stray Theories and Orion & J.Shore, both of whom are equally well-known names to Silk's chillout fans.

The Original Mix takes off with blissful piano notes and mesmerizing string layers in the background. Intriguing bell sounds and captivating horn melodies emerge, and numerous pads are layered up as the song progresses. Stunning harmonies in spell-binding structures are at play later in the song.

New Zealand-based virtuoso Stray Theories provides the first remix of "Opening Leaves." An otherworldly atmosphere is quickly established, featuring lush guitar riffs, subtle percussion elements, and mellifluous pad layers. Altogether, this remix is a stunning and highly memorable interpretation.

Finnish brothers Orion & J.Shore return to Silk Music with their classical take on "Opening Leaves." The remix features a wealth of astonishing instruments and melodies -- for example, the frisky flutes array, guitar riffs, and multiple piano layers all make this a unique listening experience.
